We always seem to need Michael in an emergency. And of course it's on the weekend or late in the evening. He is very knowledgeable and willing to help us no matter what time it is or what day of the week.Pay a lot less than those advertised plumbers and much more knowledgeablethan those 20 year olds that just started in the industry.Highly recommend.

While he came out to fix one problem, he caused 2. He changed the toilet tank fixture, but it resulted in overflow to the bathroom. The drywall had to be cut out and this will be in the thousands to repair. He also "tightened" up the pipe under the sink, but he did it with his hands, not any tools, and it has caused massive leaking. I will now have to replace the entire cabinet under the sink. Many more $ spent. I would not recommend his place to anyone!!!! He doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.

Michael Lewis (owner of Lewis Plumbing) came out and cleaned up the mess I made on a Saturday while attempting to replace a shower valve. Michael attempted several different solutions in order to tide us over till Monday. In the end, because of my screw up, none of them worked. Michael replaced the shower valve assembly. The assembly was behind a tile wall which he carefully removed part off without damaging other tiles. Michael made every effort the price down seeing as it was time and half for weekend work. The nice thing was he didn't markup the new assembly since he went and bought at home depot. Michael worked quickly and cleaned up throughly after completing his work. Don't let the fact he doesn't drive a fancy truck or wear a fancy uniform keep you from using his services. He knows what he is doing and is will to share his knowledge. I would use Lewis Plumbing again and will recommend his company to others.

Mike came out on a Sunday to assess our problem, suggested a quick fix to tie us over until the next day so we didn't have to pay for Sunday service for the entire job. He was there the next day with all the parts, ready to go. He did a great job repairing our piping, was willing to answers any questions we had, and cleaned up after himself - all for a great price. We highly recommend!

Mike has come to our house several times now. Each time he has quickly taken care of the problem. Having an older house in San Diego, Mike knows what special needs our house had and was able to take care of our repairs quickly. He also advised our options for the repairs and did not try and to sell us anything we did not need or want. I would recommend him to all who ask.

They got the job done right and cleanly, however made a few mistakes. Including cutting a hole in my wall 3 feet from where he wanted to. Mike has been more very helpful and very accomodating with his time. I would recommend him as he is a great value for great work. And things are left clean! What a nice change from most plumbing companies.

Most plumbers earn money by overselling. MRL plumbing does none of that he simply recommends what you need. I've been told what parts need to be repalced and will need to be replaced in the future. I have had a dishwasher, a washing machine, sinks, toilets and shower kits installed at my home by MRL.
