unorganized billing
I hired Life Deck to waterproof my balcony. Work began but when it rained I noticed that the balcony was sloped improperly and water pooled. I contacted my project manager and asked if it would be fixed to drain. He responded "That's the plan." When work began after Christmas I received a phone call that the job would require 700 more dollars to properly drain (original estimate was 1600). When I called him later that day he had claimed that since he had not heard from me he proceeded with just waterproofing and not leveling the patio. Depite displeasure, when the work was finished I contacted my project manager and asked how I should pay and never got an answer. The company called and asked for payment over a month later. I told them that I would send in a payment when I received a copy of the bill. The bill arrived on Monday, and on Tuesday I called and asked to place part of my bill on a credit card and told them that I would send in a check for the rest. On Thursday I received a letter thanking me for my partial payment but threatening to put a lien on the house if it the full balance was not paid within a week since work was completed on the 18th of December (when in reality it was completed after Christmas. On Friday I recieved a letter for proof to lift a the lien.

Couldn't be happier
Life Deck recently completed a job at my home doing acid stained concrete floors inside my house. My project manager and the crew doing the work were professional, always available and did a fantastic job. They got the color exactly right and the results are beautiful. Couldn't be happier and would happily recommend them.

No Complaints!
Life Deck was a great company to work with. Their receptionists were very nice, along with their project managers. The crews were on time and got the job done quickly. my patio looks beautiful and is so easy to clean! I would recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Wonderful
The company was professional, and the work was on time. They were able to remove 20 year old cool coat and apply new coating to both old concrete and new concrete. I did have some clean up to do after the application, but overall, I was very impressed. Gill was my estimator and he was great.
