Wow, ANOTHER SCAM... Life Time Fitness Alpharetta, I signed up for a membership and I was told that I could cancel within 14 days if I wanted to. Then when I cancelled oon the 12th day they told me because I owed 1 month from my memebrship 4 years ago in Florida. So as this wasn't explained to me I was livid when I was told the 130 dollars to join would not be given back to me. I tried to call several times and was put on hold .... even by the manager a few times. They obviously HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE CUSTOMER...... I WAS TRICKED AND THEY KNEW IT !!! Waiting for the manager - Chris Weiner to call me back.... 3rd call made already and no return

Weight loss place of course but in the 3 months I've been a member it's become my place to hangout and meet freinds old and new. Maybe this is what I needed all along to kick my weightloss plan in gear. As of today, down 20 lbs (hope you read this mom).

Overall the facility is impressive; with excellent cardio, free weights, pool and gym areas. Since the gym is busy occasionally machines are broken, padding ripped or the machines aren't wiped down. Overall, they get fairly good marks for the quality. However, the low rating comes in with the high pressure membership tactics. The inability to cancel easily and the deceptive tactics. They make it nearly impossible to cancel. When you call they say you need to come in to cancel. If you go in to cancel they make you wait then say you need to go online. When you go online you can't get a simple e-mail form like you do when you join. All in all its a run around. Then when you do cancel they tell you that you need to do it more than a month out. And if you ever do join and want to cancel they push a 'flex' membership that is supposed to allow you limited access, until you try to use the flex membership. Honestly, they'll give you a good sales pitch that they want you to succeed and they don't make money if you don't come to the gym but that really isn't the case and the membership is overpriced. If you could get a family membership for under $80 it would be a good deal but they typically want $110+ and raise your prices without notification. I would stay away given the number of gyms to choose from in the area.

I went to Piano Works located in Duluth, Georgia to inquire about their products (pianos) and services, tuning, use of recital hall, etc but was met with a very snobbish attitude. The lady I spoke to could never commit to a price and the fact that she kept putting me off led to my being unable to finalize a deal. Eventually I guess I got the message: they were not interested in doing business with me. Not a friendly bunch of folks. Avoid the hassle of shopping there; don't even stop by and save yourself time. Seems to me they are rather greedy trying to see what they can get.

They have great facility, but very poor corporate customer service. I am pissed off specially by their referral scheme, where they give you Life Time bucks and don't even tell you where all you can spend. When I called their customer service, they say they cannot explain to every member how you can use your Lifetime Bucks. Are they so dumb. Even a simple email notification with all the explanation works out as efficient method. On top of that it expires in 30 days. I haven't seen such a cheap referral scheme for an organization which calls itself elite in the industry. I agree they provide nice facility for being very expensive compared to others. But atleast they should provide good customer service for the money they charge

Used to be a nice facility but their service is absolutely horrible. Never seen a company that charges more than any other Gym in the city but finds new ways of charging more. I just canceled my membership after 3 yrs. Sorry its not worth $110 per month when I can go get it for 1/3. I settle for a less extravagant gym. I can see their greed will be their downfall, I noticed a lot of angry members lately

My daughter loves this place especially over the summer all the swimming activities and options for the kids and parents who want a babysitter. BUt they make it tough to cancel your membership. For a busy mom its hard to show up when you have a tight schedule. Emails and faxs woud make it easier to cancel.

All lifetimes fitness gyms are crooks #1 crook team is the duluth location number 2 is the John Creek locations. They sign you up and when you decide to cancel they give you the run around and they keep billing you even if you stop using the gym. So whatever you do don't sign up trust me its the worst health club in the World! BTW I never got my GYM BAG that they promise me when I signed up. If I could rate this club a NEGATIVE INFINITI I WOULD BUT I THINK YOU GET THE POINT -100 DON'T SIGN UP!

I go the Mountain Brook location and I LOVE it. I am reviewing here because they have no kudzu profile and I want to give 'em some kudos! I worried that because of its massive size, it might be a sort of "wal Mart" of fitness clubs. Not so. It's a big, family friendly place and I have always felt very at ease there. It's pricey if you use all the facilities like training and the cafe etc, but they make things so convenient that you barely notice the expense. Only problem is the personal trainer revolving door syndrome that seems to affect every gym I have ever attended. But otherwise, a great place to exercise or relax.

being dedicated to improving my fitness abilities i want the best available. i love all that lifetime fitness offers to benefit my health. i have all that i could ever want conveniently located in one building. however i was a bit surprise with the overall cleanliness of the gym. it was good but not great. personally i prefer the one located in woodstock off of hwy 92. but still cant go wrong with a great health club.

The gym is nice; lots of equipment, relatively clean, good child care center, but the locker system is seriously flawed from a security perspective. Today, for the second time, someone broke. After the first theft it took over a week for someone at LT to review the video. The thief took my workout bag, so I believe he could have been caught, if LT really tried.

This used to be a great facility. It has fallen off dramatically in recent years. The management just doesn't care about cleanliness, upkeep etc. or anything other than bringing in new members. I had to start going to John's Creek (newer one) because the bathroom/showers etc. were just too filthy to handle. I also had an experience there where one of their personal trainers walked backwards into me and bumped me and then tried to pick a fight with me - increbible! This has the makings of a nice facility but is run like a flea market. I guess one customer got so frustrated with the lack of cleanliness that they continued to place a dirty bandaid every day in one of the shower stalls to the point there were more than 20 of them in the shower stall at one point which goes to show they never clean the bathrooms - UGGHHHH!
