7 DAYS LATER NO MONEY NO PRODUCT NO CALL BACK
I purchased a bike from lightenupbikes.com , paid thru paypal and 7 days later still no contact with thsi company, I am not sure they even exist. I send them several emails and left several messages. I would love to be able to cancel my order and use a company that is worth working with. My son's birthday is in 5 days and I still dont have his bike.

Great before the sale, but poor afterwards
I wanted more speeds for my beach cruiser so I got a fantastic price on a Nexus 8 speed wheelset from lighten up bikes. I received everything quickly and Scott was quick to follow up via email. I go to put my new rim on and I do not have the correct parts. I email him Sunday. Tuesday night still no response so I send him a another email. No response Wednesday morning so I call and leave a message. It is now 4p Wednesday and since Sunday afternoon no response. I will order from another source so I can use it this weekend, but in my book that is poor customer service. 72 hours and no response. I am an insurance agent and I would be out of business if that is the way I treated customers. I know he is a one man show, but he should have a disclaimer on expected return time for customer issues. He was lightening fast on the sale. What happened now.

Great work and easy to deal with
Scott was very responsive to emails and phone calls. He fixed a vintage bike and my newer Trek. Repairs and parts took longer than expected but he kept me informed all along the way. They aren't a traditional bike shop so don't have regular hours but he accomodated my schedule so I could pick up after work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Great bike shop
I recently purchased a BMX bike through Lightenupbikes.com, and the service was phenominal, they shipped same day and the product was great. iwould recommend them to anyone who wants to purchase a bike.
