I have enjoyed Lovin' Knit since they opened. I have always crochet and wanted to expand to knitting and Pat was the best teacher, so patient. I love all the yarns, patterns, and accessories. Today was my last visit because I am moving out of state. Very sad because I know I will never find another store like this one.

There are so many places to purchase knitting supplies these days and deals to be had all over the Internet but nothing replaces the experience of walking around in a roomful of yarn, patterns, and notions (oh, and bags!) dreaming of my next project...or three. Pat has created a special place just for that tucked into a little corner of East Cobb. It's a welcoming and fun place to shop, take a class, or just visit...even if you aren't working on a project. I shouldn't have favorites, but Addi usually greets me at the door and she always brings a smile to my face.

Sorry, but I disagree with Tango2Knit. I found the staff at Lovin' Knit to be extremely patient and helpful. I'm a relatively new knitter and am ready to dive into big projects but I don't have the experience or knit-knowledge to select appropriate projects and compatible yarns. Last week the staff spent hours with me in an effort to find multiple sweater patterns that were challenging but within my skill level, then they helped me select appropriate yarns for each project. As a newbie, all of the beautiful yarns in Lovin'Knit are a bit overwhelming and it's hard to know how to find a compatible yarn for my selected patterns. Additionally, I'm unable to visualize a completed project thus I couldn't make a decision until I had multiple pattern/yarn/color combinations. The Lovin' Knit ladies gave me just enough guidance without hovering or being overly intrusive. And they certainly didn't hesitate to provide extra help when I needed it to select and get started on my projects. (Yes, I'm starting multiple projects because they just have so many lovely patterns and yarns to choose from!) Without the help of Sheryl, Janet and Pat I would still be aimlessly wandering, admiring lovely yarns. Now I can feel satisfied that I'm creating something beautiful! Thanks Lovin' Knit ladies!

I'm not one to write many reviews but for this shop I have to share my experience. The quality of yarn is very nice but the customer service is cold and very disappointing. I will not buy any of my projects from Pat again and have told all of my friends of the numerous bad experiences I've had at the shop. I'm so grateful Atlanta has many wonderful shops to choose from and that I'm not stuck with Lovin' Knit.

I've been going to Lovin Knit for over a year now - it's truly been a pleasure to have this kind of shop in the neighborhood. Pat, the owner, has created a very welcoming shop, that offers reasonably priced classes, and a beautiful selection of yarns from which to choose. It's a wonderful "get away" to go there to browse and knit!

I was thrilled to discover that this wonderful yarn shop had opened. Not only is the selection of yarns absolutely terrific, the staff is the best. I feel blessed to have them as a new group of friends! They are very helpful, welcoming, and encouraging. In an age of impersonality, Lovin' Knit offers something very unique and special....excellence AND the warmth of caring about their customers. If you've ever wanted to learn to knit, but been intimidated...wait no more. Lovin' Knit is the place for beginners and seasoned knitters.

Lovin' Knit is a great little yarn shop. They carry a good variety of luxury yarns and "workhorse" yarns. Something for almost any project. Great selection of books, patterns, needles and notions. The space is open, bright, neat, and inviting with plenty of space for their very popular Tuesday night sit 'n knits. And the owner, Pat Capistrant, and her crew (Stacy, Nancy and Janet) are wonderfully welcoming and professional.
