Not Helpful
My dog has struggled with allergies for years, so I decided to think outside the box and try alternative treatment. I researched and decided to try NAET, when I called to schedule my appointment I was informed that the vet, Dr. Zook, who works with this treatment was no longer there. False advertising on this website! Then to boot, the receptionist told me they knew where the Vet was but couldn't (or I should say WOULDN'T) tell me. With that type of customer service I am glad I didn't take my pet there! I did find Dr. Zook though, at Gwinnett Animal Hospital, and my dog is now having great success with his allergy relief!

Thank you for bringing the continuing reference to NAET treatment on our website to our attention. With anywhere from 30-50 active pages at a time on our website, I'm sure you can understand how things can slip through the cracks when we have changes in our staff and treatment offerings. In fact, bringing this to our attention also reminded us that we had not yet added Stem Cell Therapy to the list of surgical treatments that we offer- so thank you again! We have taken care of both treatments on the website- false advertising no, being human yes.
Be it at your local beauty salon or group medical practice, you will find that it is standard business practice not to disclose where your stylist or doctor has moved on to. The same is true in the veterinary field. While losing a stylist, doctor or veterinarian that one has developed a relationship with is always dissapointing, in most cases an equally satisfying (if not more-so) relationship can be developed with a practitioner at the same practice. If not, then as you have discussed, it is usually not too difficult to locate the specific practioner that you are looking for.
We are so pleased to hear that the allergies in your dog have been resolved- natural medicine is indeed a beautiful thing!

Healing powers!
First time I went in with my 10 year old pitt bull Dr. Michelle, and Dr. Kevin did a wonderful job on her. She was hit by a car before I got her and the previous owner never had surgery on her hips. After doing acupuncture and some herbs she is like a new pup again. Love you guys! You have a long term client!

Devoted to pet care
I've taken five dogs to this vet office over the last 7 years. There are several doctors at this office and I have found Dr. Kevin is my favorite. Our first experience with Dr. Kevin was an emergency surgery for our 13 year old pit mix that had been attacked by a foster dog. Hours worth of surgery, five layers of staples and hundreds of stitches, or "Big Ol' Dog" now hardly has a scar. Our first experience at this office with this dog was with Dr. Pat, and if it were not for the personable staff and incredibly understanding vet. techs I probably would not have gone back. I'm glad I stuck it out and continued going there.

Make sure you get what you're paying for
The vet spent 15 minutes with us and was 30 minutes late, though we were there 15 minutes early (as instructed) to get "every minute" of the hour consult with the vet ($80). We came for a nutritional consult to enhance cancer treatment for our dog. The vet was dismissive, asked minimal questions about the dog's condition and treatment, did not seem to know about chemo treatments, and gave 4 different instructions for different diets then (despite being asked and agreeing) did not write anything down. The instructions ranged from putting 1oz of fish on her existing dry dog food to cooking fish and vegetables, to using a new food and adding vegetables, so they were completely contradictory. We had to call back and get answers to what we were supposed to do (and we're teachers, not usually dimwits about instruction). The vet said he wanted to know whether the supplements or the diet changes would have an impact, but then told us to do both at once. My husband had to suggest that we try the supplements first and then add the diet so we had some kind of control. It was almost like the vet had memory problems. Also, the supplements (which are just added to the bill rather than discussed) were exactly twice the price as online. We paid $30 for ordinary fish oil tablets, $15 at CVS; $60 for vitamins, $25-30 online. The office staff and vet techs, however, were great. We're grateful this alternative is available, but go in forewarned to get better value out of your visit than we did.

Compassionate doctors; expensive
Our vet referred my 12 year old dog after trying several treatments for her arthritis. She either didn't respond to the treatment or it upset her stomach. We came here for acupuncture and it seemed like she was responding after early treatments. It turns out that she didn't make the kind of improvements we were all hoping for. I thought it was great that the vet told me that we should have seen improvement by now and since we didn't it was likely that she wasn't going to respond. While I wanted to hear something different, they didn't try to get me to continue a treatment that wasn't working. The acupuncture is expensive and you do have to come back for acupuncture on a regular basis, but the plan is to increase the time between visits, if your dog responds. Dr. Pat and Dr. Kevin have seen our dog and both spent a good bit of time easing her nervousness and helping her to relax before the treatment.
I wish our outcome had been better, but they were great to work with and are very caring.
