Delivery of an appliance was scheduled for 1.5 weeks after purchase. The night before the scheduled delivery, I received no confirmation call. I called the store, who told me to call the deliverer, who said the store had fax'ed the order too late for inclusion in the routing system. The morning of the delivery, the deliverer said they had nothing on the manifest, and they told me to call the store and request that the appliance be added to the delivery truck. After repeated calls to the store, a manager confirmed the appliance would be delivered. The appliance was delivered, but with a large dent in the back panel. The appliance is functional, but there was much angst over the delivery process. The customer should not be placed in a position of having to issue repeated calls to the store and the deliverer to confirm delivery and ascertain a delivery service window.

Hey, I purchased two appliances and was told I would receive rebates, total: $150. That is $50 for each appliance and $50 for the 'free' delivery. So far I have received $50 and have struggled ever since. The 'rebate' center says I sent it to the wrong address (I sent it to the address on the 'rebate slip' that states 'send to this address'). This whole 'rebate' thing is a scam and they assume most people will just give up. Customer Care is your typical 'thank for call Lowes is there something else I can help you with?' As matter of fact there is: close the rebate center, put those people out on the floor so a customer can actually find somebody and LOWER THE PRICES'. Oops, I just woke up fron that dream!!
