We have been so impressed with Melissa Tesvich, Kitchen Designer, at this store. She has absolutely bent over backwards to help us with our kitchen even though we, unfortunately, ordered it though another Lowe's store. She is much more knowledgeable than the KD at another store who'd been in that position much longer. Melissa was the only KD to come out to our house in order to plan a better kitchen layout, which the other store we switched to wouldn't even consider. Melissa was also the one to help us pick our cabinet hardware, and it's perfect. Also, after the installation of our cabinets, we discovered several cabinet doors hit other parts of the cabinets when opened. The other store offered no solution; it was Melissa who told us about the available plugs for the hinges. In the end, all this really makes a huge difference! The assistant manager, whose name I can't recall, is also awesome and does whatever he can to make you, the customer, happy.

I purchased a kitchen upgrade from Lowe's on Windward (cabinets, counter-top, back-splash, flooring, lights, pantry expansion, blinds, painting of area, new sink, etc). This was a large and expensive project. They did an awesome job. The fee included everything, and it was all done correctly. They doubled he size of my pantry, put up an awesome back-splash, cabinets were perfect. They made some changes mid-project because some recommendation they came up with to improve the kitchen. Everything was covered in what I paid at the beginning. Melissa was the project manger, Geoff did the install. All went perfect. I would use them again!

Don't go to Lowes. If you expect to get your hands dirty and grease under your nails, Don't go to Lowes. If you are planing to really clean out a closet or organize your golf shoes, go to Lowes. Oh don't get me wrong. I have golf shoes. I just don't go to Lowes. There are even better construction shops than HD, but for general everyday fix it upper type stuff. Don't go to Lowes. Go to Home Depot.

I seem to be able to fine things I needed more easily than Home Depot down the road. Probably because it's new. Like Home Depot, help can be hard to come by at times, but overall, it's better than Home Depot.
