We had our kitchen redone through Lowes... very poor service, long and expensive installation. We ended up having to hire other companies to fix problems caused by installers. It is better to pay more upfront for a reliable service than use Lowes...they give you a cheaper bid, but the overall cost ends up being the same or more.

I bought wooden external French doors for $1000 (for my deck). A year later the door started to fall apart, literally! I'm usually very diligent at keeping receipts but couldn't find this particular receipt anywhere:( It was mind-boggling to me that Lowe's didn't have any record of me even purchasing this door. Therefore I had no recourse in trying to get the door fixed/replaced. I am livid and couldn't believe only a year later they had no record of this $1000 purchase. They made me feel like they didn't care about my problem because they were already paid! So, now I'm stuck with this door that I will undoubtedly have to pay someone else to repair:( How do you stay in business with such poor customer service?

Seriously, the people here have no idea about anything in the store. They are always understaffed and the employees all look and act like they are on drugs. Can't find anyone to help you and its probably better that you don't because you're better off guessing than asking their employees for advice. I only shop here because they frequently undercharge me.

I purchase a lot of items from home stores and I found that while this store is the one near my home, it is better to travel a little further and go to the one in Snellville or the one on Pleasant Hill Rd. I have never been able to find anyone that knows where things are located or that can answer most of my questions if I need advice or help at this location.
