do not go here, 6/03/2008

This was one of the most incredulous acts of blatant dishonesty I've ever encountered. Went in to have my brake pads changed in 9/05. Sat around for nearly five hours and was repeatedly assured the... pads were on the way. When I complained for the third time, I was told the car was ready to go. Absurdly overpriced ($150). Weeks later the brakes still squeaked. I asked them and they assured it was normal. Finally, three months afterwards I went to Just Brakes (who treated me like royalty, for far less money), where they removed the pads and were 110% positive they had never been changed--and I could see why. They were the original factory pads, worn to the metal and had born grooves into my discs. I returned to Xpress Lube and asked for a refund, and they were extremely rude and shady, some were snickering, others confrontational, and claimed they had no record of my vehicle in their system. I then produced the receipt (which they hadn't expected) and no one would speak to me any further. I was forced to file a complaint and now must go appear in the middle of the day so that I can collect default judgment against them. Don't make the same mistake--avoid these incompetent, dishonest crooks like the plague.
