I hired them to move just our large items from our home to storage, then to our new home a week later. They came on time for both moves, but they damaged a large dresser by dragging the side on the... cement, 16 large scratches on our new dining room wood floor from sliding some type of sharp metal object across the floor and 7 long vertical scratches on the front of our stainless steel refrigerator. After repeated calls they sent out someone to repair the dresser, but they said the movers didn't admit to damaging the floor and frig, so they couldn't do anything about it. I paid for insurance, so I should have received a check for $350 to fix the items myself, but after over 20 phone calls, voicemails to the owner and promises to return my call...nothing. If you don't care about your furniture or you just want them to move boxes I guess they're a good value, but I will never use them again and I will let anyone who is thinking of hiring them know about their business ethics or the lack of them.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
This company is awful. They destroyed my house and do not want to pay. The movers came with one hand truck and asked me to borrow my tools.

TOo upset to even talk about it, but to sum up this whole experience, or nightmare, I should say very simply STAY AWAY! Lucky Dawg movers is a big rip off. They delivered my items 7 days after they picked them up and only brought about a tenth of my things.j THey overcharged me from what the contract said it would cost and they are doing nothing about it. I have pics i will gladly email to you if you need proof! Amazing this place is still business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a small move and Lucky Dawg was a great choice. The custpmer service reps and the movers were very professional and they showed up when they said they would, they did not over charge me. I will use them again if I I need to move again and will tell my friends to use them.

Great Experience! Great Service! I read some of the negative reviews after I scheduled my move that caused me to be concerned. I will use Lucky Dawg Movers in the future and recommend them to all of my friends. The movers were on time (on a Saturday) and very cautious with my furniture. I moved out an apartment that is very difficult to remove furniture without damaging the walls or furniture; I have not noticed a scratch on any of my furniture or walls. Ask for Mohamed and his crew. Al Wiggins, Lithonia, Georgia

Well, just as we expected this company did not fulfill its obligation. As stated earlier we had problems with this company and should have know better. After making an appointment for the "inspector/repairman" to come look at the damage to our basement walls and armoire, he didn't show up! The company made an appointment when it was his day off!!! When he did come by the following week, he even stated that he couldn't believe the damage that had been done. The company and his way of fixing things was something that we could have done!!!! He spackled the basement wall holes, and colored in the armoire scratches with a wood colored marker. What a JOKE!!! I definately recommend that you DO NOT use this company.

You guys where wonderful and I want to thank you for a job well done! My move was not an easy one and your movers came in and took control. This was great for me as we where so stressed with getting both closings done and getting my 4 kids packed up and over to the new house. Your movers where professional and so wonderful that I even went out and got them ice cream to give them an extra thinks from us. I will use you in the future for all my moving needs.

I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" is appropriate in my situation. The movers arrived on time, but when they arrived they did not arrive with a dolly (or handtruck) which was there reasoning for not being able to wrap my furniture in blankets while they bumped all my belongings down the hall and stairs. The adminstrative staff that arranged my move over the phone were also not very courteous nor professional and actually reprimanded me for information that they did not have that they needed that they had never asked for! I would not use this company again.

Everything about this move was great, from the price quote to the last piece of furniture off loaded. They were prompt(a little earlier) and had everything done in a small amount of time. It's nice that they charge by piece, any other moving company you would have to spend your time hounding them to get going. Not these guys, they were awesome!!

We used Lucky Dawg (Apt. Movers) and we were disappointed in their services. It began when they arrived 1+ hour after their window of arrival that Lucky Dawg provided and the experience continued in a downward spiral. We certainly will not use their services again nor would we recommend them.

I don't usually go out and do reviews but I felt my experience with Apartment Movers of Atlanta was superior to any other mover that I have used in the past. They gave me a great price that was guaranteed and moved me in a fast and professional manner. I will use your company anytime I need a mover. Thanks for a great experience without any damage.

After some negative experiences with other moving companies in the area, we tried Apartment Movers for an in-town move. The guys showed up on time (in fact, a little early) and were courteous and hard working. It was nice to pay by the piece instead of the hour. I would recommend to anyone in the area needing assistance moving. We will definitely be using you guys for our next move!

I have moved from Las Vegas to DC, DC to Atlanta, and had various local residential moves. Never in all my moves have I had the cumulative damage that I had during this move I experienced with this company. The movers showed up on a truck they don't usually use so they were lacking all the equipment I was assured that they had with them when I scheduled my move. As a result they were unable to properly wrap my furniture. When we reached my destination I realized that every piece of my furniture was damaged in some form or fashion. My leather sofa was punctured and scratched, my dining room table was chipped, my wooden futon had a deep scratch, my armoire was chipped, my coffee table scratched, and even more disturbing my $1000 treadmill that I have had less than a year will not work. Of course, my claim limit is only $300 so there is no way that I will be able to get everything I have repaired with that limit. If you decide to move with this company please have your receipts ready because you are definitely going to need them. DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!!**Update: When I called to settle a claim they offered me $120 to repair $539.79 in damages for my treadmill and repair the scratches and scuffs to my leather sofa. When I denied the initial 2 offers that did not meet the threshold of the $300 minimum for the insurance they offer and my fiancÚ requested that they reimburse me the cost of my move they refused to pay me anything. I have been waiting 2 months to resolve my claim.
