SPEECH THERAPIST - FUN, AFFORDABLE, & DEDICATED, 12/17/2007

Lucy Nutt has worked with our son for about 6 months and has been wonderful. She is creative, thoughtful, and encouraging in how she works with Chris. She looks for his strengths and engages him in... each session which is often very hard. (13 year old boys with autism are not the easiest group of children to work with.) She makes therapy relevant to everyday things like cooking, music, and the computer. Without Lucy my son would have little hope of communicating. She is opening up opportunities for him that others had said were not options. She has provided us with wonderful resources we can use at home and worked miracle getting Medicaid to provide equipment and services for Chris. She goes above and beyond what she is paid for. Her love for her job is evident when she calls on a Sunday afternoon because she is doing paperwork and needs information from us to speed the purchase of equipment.
