Overall good work, 4/08/2013

I had an 83 300D which Lugones serviced for me for 12 years. They were consistantly solid in their diagnostics, in the quality of their work and in delivering as promised. I found the prices for... their work to be reasonable.

Most Honest, Best Prices, 5/26/2010

I have taken my E320 to over 5 locations in metro Atlanta for fixes, and Lugones is by far the most honest and best priced, hands down. I strongly recommend them for quality work and pricing.

Dishonest and NO customer service

I have a 1985 300D Turbo Diesel which is in mint condition. I have an honest mechanic in Buckhead but had the car towed to Lugones Mercedes in midtown because it was closer to my home and office. They advised me that the car wouldn't start because I had to change my fuel filter and inline fuel filter (not fuel pump). As well as a block heater cable. They charged me over $200 for the three services. They mentioned later that I should have a valve adjustment after the fact. After consulting with two other mechanics including, my guy in Buckhead. They both determined that the valves should have been adjusted first. My fuel filter was changed with my last oil change. I picked the car up and the next morning which is 65-70 degree weather the car did not start. I spoke with Richard at Lugones and he said I would have to plug the car up every night until the summer weather. He now wanted me to bring the car back to adjust the valves which should have ben repaired first. What they did was trick me into overcharging me for a fuel filter that was not needed. My problem was not solved.
