Luna Transmission

I have a 1986 Toyota Tercel wagon with a manual transmission. I heard a big thud sound under the hood. Then it was making noise when I drove it. It wasn't a good time for my transmission to go out as I'm on disability with no savings. I took it in to 3 other shops in my area for an estimate and it was over $2.000. Plus, no one could find a rebuilt trans for my car. I thought I'd have to ride the bus. but a friend told me about Luna Transmissions. They came to my house and did a test drive to confirm the problem and towed my car to the shop. They went to the auto recycling yard and, although the transmission they found for $100 was a little broken, they were able to piece together my trans with the used trans and rebuild a good working transmission. Because I was a referral from another customer, they let me make payments. It's been almost a years and it's still running fine....

I took my car here for a broken transmission. It was the rock bottom cheapest in town at $1100. After authorizing the work, they told me it was only a bad solenoid which they repaired for $125. I was elated that they were honest and that I didn't have to pay for a transmission repair.

The only downside I noticed was that they do not take credit or checks. Cash only, but quality, bargain, and honest.
