I have been a patient of Dr. Lundberg for 8 yrs, she was helping me watch my MVP and irregular heart rhythm. This year I had to undergo surgery to replace my valve and replace part of my aorta. The surgeon was awesome, but Dr. Lundbergs team was never around to answer questions about what to expect before and after, which was problematic since I was her patient and she had monitored me for all those years. Then after being discharged she made it more than difficult to reach her and her scheduling staff was very unhelpful. I followed up with my surgeon and she made a comment that was not only unprofessional but out right rude in regards to some issues I was experiencing post surgery. I would choose another doctor and have since this incident.

I decided to see Dr. Lundberg because of her specialty with women cardiology. I would say that she is good at interpreting cardiology blood results and recommending lifestyle changes. However, I would caution people from taking her recommendations for tests that are not directly related to heart condition. In my case, she recommended PreDX for diabetes predisposition and showed me a chart that PPO coverage would be less than $90 for the test. This test came back as $600 and not covered by UnitedHealthcare at all because PreDX is out of network, specialty lab. Dr. Lundberg pushed hard for me to take the PreDX test, though she knows I see an endocrinologist for my thyroid and who runs A1C tests and thyroid tests on me regularly. The PreDX result was no different than the A1C test...just a lot more expensive. I believe diabetes is more appropriately handled by endocrinologists than cardiologists.

Dr Lundberg did save my life. Thanks to her I am off several medications, no longer diabetic and feeling wonderful. She has also been the only Dr to make my husband change his lifestyle for the better. She is caring, knowledgable and thorough. I love that she is big on preventative care and I find her a good listener and caring. I can't recommend her enough.

To the person who said she just wants the money: I'm sure you wouldn't hesitate to sue her if you had a bad outcome during surgery and she had simply cleared you WITHOUT doing any tests. Give me a break.

Forced to undergo testing before she would clear me for surgery. Prior tests showed NO problem but she refused to send a letter of clearance until I would have another expensive test. Bear in mind I have no transportation am in constant pain and if I don't have this surgery I will lose my job. All her previous testings showed NO problem. But, she wants the money and doesn't really care if she costs me my job.

She is thorough and leavs no stone unturned. She changed my BP medication and probably prevented a heart attack. She can be a bit brisk, but if you follow orders she will like you a lot.
