I came to Dr Lyday when having extreme gastro symptoms, yes I seemed a bit nuts, I was having reaction to wheat, msg and antibiotic meat all at the same time! Because I usually treat myself naturally I was looked at with some distain and disrespect. He gave me samples/script for a proton pump inhibitor even after I told him of fungal probability. Stomach acid is a way the body kills off such things! Then when asked to do a C/scan he took forever to get the results to me. I went in one last time intent on getting test results and then firing him. His last gift after saying 'neg celiac' was looking at the results and saying "hmmm you have a very low igA level. I wonder what that means? I will send that to your primary care dr and let her figure it out." It took 15 minutes online to find this tidbit... "SIgA deficiency occurs 10 to 15 times more commonly among people with celiac disease compared to the general population" At least warranting more complete igA testing. He never sympathized, was curious nor recomended anything outside the box and made the comment that "you won't do anything I say anyway". I saw him 3-4 times in a few months a total waste of money and had to suffer it out by myself. Oh yeah he wanted to to the customary cash flow items "the up yours" and "down the hatch"tests. Well sorry, wouldn't let him go there by then as I had zero confidence of empathetic care.

my experience was very good. i had some really difficult problems that had been bothering me for years. i saw several doctors in the past who were unable to help me. dr lyday was extremely compassionate and interested in helping me and i am doing well now. he is one of the best and i have never met anyone who had a bad thing to say about his care or his office, sarah

Never once have I felt that he actually listened to me. I had procedure done 3 weeks ago and am still waiting on the biopsy results. The office does not return calls. I am sorely disappointed and after 4 months of pain I still have no answers. Go somewhere else!!!!
