We hired M&C Roofing to replace our roof 5-yr ago. Recently, there was mold forming on the ceiling and all over the walls. We cleaned the mold off the wall and contacted M&C Roofing to come back again about the leaking. We were told the heatpipe was old and rusted and that we needed to contact the heating company to replace it. We also noticed and asked why there was a section of the shingles that showed different color. They explained that they installed wrong color shingles by mistake. After speaking to the heating company, they told us because the piece that needed to be replaced was above the roof, it's the roofer's job. 3 different roofers (M&C wasn't one of them) assessed the work. All 3 told us the poor workmanship done by M&C Roofing: the shingles were curving, the pipe boots filled with too many nails, and sat on top (vs underneath) of the shingles. When the hired roofer came to fixed the heatpipe, we found the weather seal was missing around one of the ventpipes. After all these findings, I reached to M&C Roofing for explanation. Marcus Clay said he would come and inspect the roof but never showed up. I contacted him again two weeks later but still see no sight of him. M&C Roofing cheated us with their poor workmanship, wrong materials, and shorted materials use. Honesty is missing in this company.

Thought I did my research in finding a legit roofing contractor. Had many companies bid on my roof, followed up with previous customers, checked insurance and member associations, etc. M&C looked good. In the end, it was one problem after another. Regardless of what the sales guy says, the people doing the work are NOT their employees, it is contracted out with one of their supervisors sometimes on site. I was promised certain products, but they installed/try to install inferior product in some places. Some of the work they said they did, they didn't do. Their use of a skill saw is amateur hour (how hard is it to set a depth gauge...really). Etc., Etc.. So far, their follow up in trying to correct things has been ok, but it seems like every time I look at a different part of the job, I find another place they have cut corners. They promise to "do the job right or we won't do it" but that isn't the experience I had.

After a hail storm last year we needed our roof replaced! This company did a far superior job then the first company that put the original roof on our less than 4 year old home. I appreciated the supervised work crew and the salesman that continued to check in on the site and the job until and after it was completed.

These guys use the cheapest contractors they can find and the debris in the drive and yard, destroyed planting and sloppy work are indicators. Keep looking. you can do much better and don't buy their salesman's smooth BS.

August 27, 2010 M&C just finished our roof yesterday and did a fantastic job! We chose M&C because of how thorough they were during their initial visit to our house when providing the quote, how comfortable we felt with their sales person Marcus and lastly because we felt their price was very competitive (although not the cheapest). Their roofing crew and project manager David did a great job communicating with us during the 2 day job and kept our yard mess free. Because of their thoroughness on the initial review of our roof, they found all the problems and included fixing each one in their quote. We had no additional charges or extra cost once the project was in progress/completed. If you're looking for a roofer talk with M&C. If you're trying to make a decision on which company to pick; choose M&C. We had a great experience and we think you will too! Sincerely, The Walters Tucker, Georgia

M & C Roofing recently replaced my hail damaged roof. After getting bids from five roofing companies, choosing M & C was a no-brainer. They provided me with a very detailed proposal, thoroughly explained the process, provided references and did everything I wanted while staying within my insurance settlement budget. Communications were great throughout the process and my new roof couldn't look better. First class materials, first class workmanship and first class people. Thanks Marcus, Angie, Robert and crew!
