They charge a $210 - $250 service fee to come to your house. After they ordered a wrong part (which was free), they tried to charge me that twice. No thanks. The other work they did was satisfactory, though.

We called M Cary & Daughters several months ago to fix three faucets in our house. They were pricey, but I thought it was worth it for quality service. However, once the job was done, I noticed an annoyance, one of the faucets now turned in the wrong direction. When I called about this, I was told that was just "the way it is." While this didn't seem right to me, I let it go. About two months later, a second faucet they fixed started to leak again. We called a different plumbing service this time, which told us that the washers were the wrong size and had worn out, causing the leak to reappear. This plumber also said that the faucet was turning the wrong way because of the part that M Cary used, not because that's just the way it is. I will say that the third faucet M Cary fixed is still doing fine, and their customer service was really good. However, we won't be using them again.

They were able to fix a chronic problem of my pipes vibrating loudly at 6 am when everyone was sleeping. After my regular plumber came out 6 times in 6 months to fix the problem it kept happening. When my old plumber was out of ideas, I called M Cary and Daughters. Fingers crossed it has been a week and we can now sleep past 6 am without the whole house vibrating. They were a bit expensive with $250 for a call, but I gladly paid that to have the problem fixed once and for all.

We've used this company several times and have been pleased with each service. They've tackled a variety of problems, from AC compressor drain out of crawl space to leaky toilet. Quick service at a reasonable price, and no problems with the work.

I was very pleased with my experience today. Very helpful and prompt to my needs. They even handled a warranty claim for a product that they did not originally sell or install. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

this is michelle with m cary and daughters plumbing, in our defense "lucy" sent us an email stating she needed service done. nowhere in her email did it say that she wanted and estimate. there was no mention of getting an estimate when our office called her to arrange someone to come to her house. there was no discussion of her getting an estimate when the plumber, buddy, called to say he was on his way. there was no mention of them wanting an estimate when we were allowed into the home with tools in hand to start the work, and no mention of an estimate before we pulled the toilet to remove the toy. the only time the mention of an estimate came into play was when the bill was presented after the work was completed. then it was, oh, i appreciate you doing the work, but i only wanted an estimate. now i know i have only been in this business 31 years, but usually when you call a plumber out to your house to preform a SERVICE you expect to have to PAY for that service. not let the plumber preform the service then say, oh i only wanted an estimate. no one ever stated to "lucy" that our prices are on our website, because they are NOT. if they were then she would have seen them before she scheduled her service call. we do not quote prices for stoppages for we have no way of knowing what is in the drain or how long it will take. as for poor customer service, well i guess i should have made her pay for the entire service call up front instead of splitting 225 up into 3 payments.

I would never do business with M. Cary & Daughters Plumbing again. First we sent an email to a couple of different companies to see who would give us the best price. They sent Buddy out (who was very friendly) He does great work, but before anyone could give us a price quote or range they did the work and handed me a bill for 225 Dollars for 15 minutes of work. When i ask why there was no quote given before the work, i just got a vague answer and needed to speak with Michelle back at the office. I was told that the standard price is 225 and its posted on their website(it's not). I tried to explain that i wanted a quote so i would know if i could afford another bill 3 weeks before Christmas. But all i got was attitude and it just wasn't worth getting upset over, especially during the Holiday Season. So their work is great but customer service is horrible and I would never recommend them unless no one else can fix your problem.

i searched through the site to find a plumber, and i found m. cary and daughters. i was immediately impressed with the customer service i received on the phone. the woman, i think her name was michelle, asked a bunch of questions so that she could get a good idea of the problem, then set an appointment. the plumbers arrived on time and actually called before they came over. they were nice, knowledgable and respectful of my things. i read other reviews that said their prices were high but their work was great, and i have to say their work is GREAT. the price was not too high and i personally dont thing that plumbing is something that you should get the cheapest price for. you get what you pay for, and their work and reputation are OUTSTANDING!!! BRAVO!!!

we called these guys since they're local to us. they did come quickly, and they were very nice, but they sent 2 guys (when the job really could have only taken one) who were here less than an hour and charged over $200! it was a problem we couldn't fix ourselves so we appreciate the help but we feel completely ripped off on the charge. won't be calling them again.
