I had an issue where water was flowing back into my bathroom.. I called M.R. Plumbing and they correctly diagnosed the problem as I had tree roots in my pipes. He snaked the pipe for $250 and LESS than a week later I had the same exact issue. I called him back and he told me that we'd have to get a camera and fix the pipes for $1000 - $1500. I told him no, rented a snake from home depot and snaked the pipe myself.. several weeks later and everything is still perfect. Would not use him again.

I would strongly recommend avoiding these guys. They represented themselves as insured so I allowed them to do some basic work in my home. Mike Reynolds, the owner, caused significant damage when he broke the tub of my washing machine my lifting it up incorrectly. Turns out he neglected to make his last 3 insurance payments and as a result was not insured when he caused the damage. I have filed a lawsuit against MR Plumbing in magistrate court, but Mike and his company are now avoiding service. Don't let what happened to me happen to you...

Currently, I have to use my attorney against this company. They installed a basic septic tank system and charged me for a more complex one. I discovered this after calling around and explaining what they put in my backyard. I am refusing to pay them the remainder and they had placed a lien on my property. In addition, they are not certified with the State of GA or Barrow County to put in septic tanks. One of office people called me at 11:30 PM to meet with him to discuss this situation on a Friday night. What a thug! Again, my attorney is involved in this. These guys overcharge for their service

This is a very contentious situation. We bid on a complete septic tank replacement with several thousand dollars worth of plumbing inside the home as well. Our septic tank replacement was at least $3000 cheaper than all other estimates the customer recieved. We did the work and the customer didn't pay the balance. I worked with him for 4 weeks to ge the matter resolved. The technician who performed the work is an unrestricted master plumber with sewer and septic certifications. Having no other avenue we had to lien the customers property. He has turned the matter over to his attorney and is going to any length to slander our work. I met with the client at the late hour at his request to hopefully bring this matter to a close.
Mike returned my call withing 20 minutes, offered same day service (OUTSTANDING!) but I couldn't as I had just had the carpets cleaned. Donny and his wife came out the next day (talk about good people!) and got to it. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and took great care not to spill a single drop on the newly cleaned carpets when removing the old toilet. There were some challenges removing the old toilet due to "creative" plumbing by the previous owners, however they got it straight and the price was not a penny more than Mike quoted me. I will be calling them again!

Be sure and ask BEFORE they come out what their charges are (they have a list) I was told at the site that it would probably take 1 hour. It took two hours @ $175.00 an hour Plus a $40.00 service call and $63.00 parts.($453.00) Then the next day the toilet would not fill up in the tank so I called them back. I was told that I would need to lift the back of the toilet off and push the flapper down so it would work properly each time I flushed. After I hit the ceiling, they came back out and fixed it properly. I was told I would be getting a 10% discount back because of this but it's been two weeks and it hasn't come yet. This was to seal the toilet, a gasket in the toilet bowl, and a wax ring. Seems very pricey to me.

It is alarming to see a negativer review, we work hard to satisfy all our customers. The prices for the service work were quoted in advance of the work being started. The 1 hour estimate was for the toilet repair. The job took 2 hours because the customer also had us repair a hose bib. When the customer called me and complained about the toilet malfunction I offered her 10% off for her inconvienence. We found out on the 2nd visit that the flapper was defective and we replaced it free of charge. I explained to her that it was rare to get a defective part and we were sorry for her inconvienence. I even asked her for a review knowing that we had done everything we could to fix her problems.
This was easy. Appointments were met with no problem. Installation went off without a hitch. Donny Switick was easy to work with, told me exactly what was going on, and everything went just right. I highly recommend using M.R. Plumbing.

These guys came out the day before I was leaving on a business trip and had my leaking pipe back in action in no time (they were fixing another plumber's mess-up). Their prices were reasonable. I would definitely call them again, and highly recommend them based on my experience. Thanks guys!

I needed a plumber last week when my water heater began leaking. After checking this website and seeing all the positive reviews, gave them a call. They were very accommodating -- we scheduled an appointment that day and they arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a new water heater, staying until the work was completed. I'm very happy with the result and feel like they gave me a fair price. And they couldn't have been more courteous and professional. Would definitely use them again or recommend to anyone.

I manage a shopping center in Buckhead. My tenants are art galleries and antique shops and our buildings are over fifty years old. When a valve broke in an antique shop it was a big problem and needed immediate attention. M.R. Plumbing got there quick, got it repaired and made my tenant very happy. No damage to the antiques, no damage to the building, no more problem! The price was very fair and they followed up to make sure we were satisfied. I'm glad to have a chance to thank them publicly.

M.R. Plumbing was great. Previously my sister & co-workers have used their services for their homes. However, I placed a call for the company I work for. They are always prompt and professional, doing a great job. And the fact that they follow up to make sure everything is working well is a plus!

I had a problem with a leak out at my water meter in the front yard. The guys actually showed up 30 minutes early, gave me a clear analysis, and had the leaked repaired in no time. Would use again.
