Fee Happy Bank!!!! (now Credit Union of Georgia)
This is a horrible institution. They are extremely aggressive in $30 bounce check fees so if you are human and make mistakes then I wouldnt bank with these folks. Clark Howard talks about these kind of banks who make millions from members by charging check fees at the drop of the hat. WATCH OUT!! I made a deposit the night before and made a payment on line which posts 24 hrs - 3 days, they still charged the $30 fee since they decided not to post the night time deposits first. The manager wouldnt make any concessions and my mortgage company IndeMac was shocked! I had a client who needed to stop payment to me(due to an inside theft) so I called the bank to let them know of the problem they first reminded me of the fees instead of being sympathetic and helpful. They wouldnt reverse the fees even though I wasnt neglectful. The tellers are wonderful but the policys are hideous!! Because the policys are soo Customer-NO-Service as Clark says, I have to rate the service as poor even though the tellers are wonderful.
