On my last visit, I asked Dr. M. Mohabubur Rahman for a referral to a hearing specialist before my health insurance runs out. I'd been experiencing poor hearing for a while. I was told to "go up front" for the receptionist to "set it up". The receptionist was unable to make the referral that day and asked me to call later in the week. Unfortunately, for me, I didn't call back until a month later and when I did, no one remembered. The same receptionist said because "it wasn't in the notes, I'd have to come back for another visit". I asked for Nicole as she is always helpful and very professional to relay my concern. Nicole told me she'd speak with Dr. Rahman and called back to say that Dr. Rahman did not recall the request but that a message was left for him to call me. Dr. Rahman called back and accused me of calling he and his staff "a liar". I was taken by surprise and not one time did I accuse he or his staff of lying. I didn't get an opportunity to clear this. Dr. Rahman refused to listen to me, constantly "cutting me off" in mid sentences. Dr. Rahman was rude, very unprofessional and showed neither regard or respect for me as his patient. The level of respect in which he spoke to me was that of a PEASANT, as if I were LESS THAN and BENEATH him. Dr. Rahman berated me for merely "suggesting" that he could have possibly "forgotten". When I informed him that I didn't appreciate his tone and disrespect he suggested that I "go see someone else".
