I originally met the owner Richard through a mutual friend and requested a bid to replace the bigger of our two ac's since we were already getting bids from other companies. He knows his business well and did the best job showing my husband and I the different kinds we could get. We chose a middle of the road unit that he promised would bring down our power bill by at least 20% after doing some calculations. As it turns out our bill is on average almost 25% lower. Full disclosure, he asked us if we would write a review and tell other people how much we have saved, and I am happy to do it. He did not give us or promise anything in return (like so many reviews on Amazon now who get free product for a review). The only reason I can't give five stars is on the day of the installation they discovered the outside compressor unit had a very big dent in it and had to leave to go get a replacement which took several hours. Subsequently they did not finish until almost 9:30 that night and I wake up for work at 4:00am so it was a long day. They were apologetic and I know it wasn't completely their fault but I don't understand why they didn't open the box to check for damage before they got here. Everything else went well and they did clean up very well even though it was very late at night. For what it's worth we do plan to have them replace the smaller ac next year which should lower our power bill even more. The new unit is also pretty quiet whereas the old one sounded like a jet.

I use Magic Touch for my regular maintenance service and have no reason to call anyone else. Everybody is very professional and organized. They have excellent service skills and are obviously very well trained to work with their customers.

To say that they deserve their high ratings is an understatement. I purchased a new air conditioner / furnace combo from them in July 2014 and within a month it stopped working (I have since learned it was a manufacturer problem not from any of Magic's work) and it was a serious problem. They worked for hours basically rebuilding the air conditioner unit (it had a bad coil unit). Everything worked fine until again last month when it stopped working again. Guess what, the same thing again. Unprompted by me, the owners at Magic took it upon themselves to request (they didn't say this but I'm guessing it was more like demand) a whole new air conditioner unit from the manufacturer, and they got it! This time instead of rebuilding the whole thing, they got me a brand spanking new one. That is what I call standing behind your product, something you don't see much of anymore. Thank you, E.F.

I got their name from SRP from their energy assessment program. Very detailed and much more than I expected for $99. They replaced my heat pump and added ceiling insulation. The install crew they sent was neat and polite. There was a noticeable difference after they finished.

The service tech was young but clearly competent as he found the issue with my cooling unit in short time, told me what my options where and made the repair. The service is what I define as exceptional, it was easy to make the appointment, they told me what to expect and when, and the service tech did what the scheduler told me I could expect. They didn't charge me for the travel fee because I used them to fix the cooling unit, which was a good touch.

We are very happy with the new air conditioner and so far it cools much better than the last one. The owner of the company came personally and spent a lot of time explaining the differences between all the brands and features. All the other companies recommended "their" brand, but Rich (owner) gave us a lot of choices from many brands and only offered suggestions about what were the best options for our home (there are a lot more choices to make than what you might think there are). We liked that he didn't try to "sell" us and ultimately we chose a middle of the road option. So far we couldn't be happier with our choice of both company and air conditioner.

I just had this outfit replace my central cooling and heating systems. The cost was $350 higher than the other outfit I liked but they were willing to match the cost and I ultimately felt more comfortable having this one in my home. I know a thing or two about this field because of my line of work and this outfit was the most straight forward and honest about what I needed. I did my research and they are also one of the better rated outfits in this area. I figure it's only fair that I rate them as well for others looking for cooling and heating systems to see. They do good work and the service was good so I have no hesitations recommending using them.

I got quotes from 4 different companies I found on this site as well as Angies List. The guy from Magic Touch, Rich who was also one of the owners spent way more time checking everything and pointed out what he found, even took pictures in my attic of all the vents. He was very patient showing me all the different brands and what the differences were. The crew who came out to install the one I chose was on time and professional. They did a good job and cleaned everything up to my satisfaction. The new heat pump is quiet and seems to work very well. I'm very happy with this company and their workers and would definitely refer them to other people.

I've had them make a lot of energy improvements to my house. They first did an audit of things that were wrong with my house causing me to pay very high power bills to srp. Since then they put in two new high efficient air conditioner-heat pumps, fixed the leaky air tubing, added new insulation in my attic and a few other things that needed to be fixed. They know what they're doing because my power bill went down by 40%. I liked the fact that they took a lot of time showing me what was wrong and didn't push me into paying for things I do not need. The cherry on top is before both of my daughters rooms were either too hot in the summer or too chilly in the winter and we were either freezing or sweating in our room to keep them comfortable. Now its even in every room. You cant do better then them in my opinion.

I gave it a few months to make sure there weren't problems with our new ac unit before writing a review. found this business here on kudzu along with 3 others when our 20 year old ac decided to breathe its last breath. we chose this business because they were the most informative and gave us a bunch of different options from low end to high end. we also liked that they had a few brands to choose from unlike 2 of the other companies who only had traine which we would never buy again. we went with their brand because of the price and warranty which were both better then the other options. the unit cools the house better then the old traine ever did and our power bill is down $90 a month less thenm it was last year. the only problem was the thermostat stopped working about a week after they put it in but they came out right away probably within an hour after I called. they said the thermostat was bad and replaced it for free under the warranty. we are going to have them replace the other traine unit this winter when it cools down and will get the same unit. we recomend magic touch.

It has been slightly over a year that we spent over $20k on a new system with Magic Touch based on their reputation. In that time they have come to work on the upstairs system over 10times. Each time saying there is not a problem, but obviously a properly working system should not require such continued maintenance. After the last episode I asked for the system to be replaced as there is obviously a systemic issue, I was told the system is working fine. Now here I sit again less than a month later with the same system down. Rich Morgan and team seem to think the mark of quality service is coming out to get your system back up on average every two months (Usually after a week of waiting), instead of a fix it once mentality. Rich likes to talk how he is all about customer service, but he has never return my direct calls to him to address this ongoing issue. Rather he tolls the internet managing his reputation through rebuttal rather than doing the right thing. Here we sit again in record breaking heat waiting to hear how long we have to wait to get our service back up while my wife and three toddlers swelter. I would avoid Magic Touch at all cost, Rich is all talk, no action, and his intentions are not honorable.

As I explained yesterday on the phone to you, the reason my wife and equal partner in the business returned your call and not myself, I was attending my Father's wake. In fact she excused herself to respond to you immediately...and you were yelling at her! She then excused herself AGAIN to speak with your wife. Per our conversation, we have scheduled for the Lennox Factory Technical Adviser to inspect your upstairs unit as it appears to be an intermittent electrical issue and during our last two courtesy follow up visits the equipment was running per manufacturer specifications.I've already expressed to you that I feel your review is terribly unfair as Magic Touch has been EXTREMELY responsive. While I expressed how much I understand your frustration that this unit has intermittently failed, it is unfair to single out myself and publicly make the comments you have regarding my honor! Mechanical and electrical equipment can fail and while it makes us no less unhappy than you when it does, a Magic Touch representative has responded quickly throughout. Even now when contractually, Magic Touch's warranty has expired, we are still sticking with you our client...I believe that is the very definition of honor! It could've been easier to get an appointment, they were almost a week out booking a cleaning and check of my ac unit. Very responsive and good service as a whole though. Will use again. Would give five stars if they would have given me a same day or next day appointment.

Just so you know for next time: We always reserve spots this time of year for emergency service for people who have no cooling so we can get to them same day. We are able to do this by booking out non-emergency maintenance and cleanings out a few days to a week or so. Should you ever call us in an emergency with no air we can usually respond the same day to get you up and running right away. After a horrific experience with another company, I called two more companies to make sure I didn't get burned again. The man from Magic Touch was polite, patient, and professional. He laid out all my options from a cheap fix which he called a "bandaid" to showing me how much a new heating and cooling system would cost. I really appreciated his time and concern as I'm on a fixed income and he didn't try to sell me items I didn't need but he didn't judge me and assume I couldn't pay for the "premium package". Ultimately I chose to go with the bandaid option for now because I want to plan to upgrade my home. I will certainly us this company when I do to because I can just tell they are a company that I can trust to treat me fairly. I can tell this is a wonderful company by the fact that they have people that really do care working for them.
