After some research, we found that most maid services are not only expensive but also way too complicated to deal with. If you want to hire a maid, you have to contact the agency, schedule an appointment, fill out a questionnaire, check the items you want to have it cleaned, get the square footage of your house, etc etc and more etc.
To make it worse, many agencies provide house KEEPING services, when you?re looking for house CLEANING services. Complicated? Just wait until you realize that many house ?keeping? require a house ?cleaning? to start with, and finally you realize that if you want house ?keeping? you are better off cleaning it yourself, unless, of course, you don?t mind paying people to ?clean? and leave your house without doing the dishes, for example. Gosh! No wonder why nobody has a maid here!
Interesting enough, most countries in South and Central America have been hiring maids for decades! How come people living with a lot less resources can afford to have someone come to the house 2, 3, 4, even 5 days/week and we can't? I don't know about you, but we thought something was really wrong with this picture.
