Really love it!
My little sweetie looks great! A friend of mine recommended Main Line Pet Spa. I wasn't happy with my groomer who is also in the area. I wanted to stay close to home. All of the staff there are so nice. They really were wonderful, explaining the process, asking me questions about the type of cut I wanted for my baby -- and she came out looking just like I wanted! I am so happy that I found them. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

My dog got the best haircut!
This was such a great experience! My little dog is usually so nervous but the staff put her (and me) at ease! They were so loving and concerned. Very patient. They took the time to listen to what I wanted and made suggestions too. The cut was great! Very professional. I couldn't have been happier with the staff and service. Will definitely go back and refer others too. When I walk my dog I get a lot of compliments on how she looks!

The manager needs some manners
I had the same experience: the manager yelled and said she did not know the owners name and she did not need my business. I only have one small dog. The owner, whomever it is, should fire her because the manager is costing him/her business.

The manager told me to get out of the store, she didn't care if my dog got a bad cut.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I took my dog there for grooming. I have a yorkie. I gave them specific instructions and I actually talked to the groomer. When I came back to pick up my dog he was shaved almost completely bald. I said to the lady that he looked terrible. He was shaved bald. The groomer heard me and said that he had a good 1/2 inch of hair. I told them that I wanted the owners name and number when another lady got involved and she said she was the manager. She told me she didn't want my business and I needed to leave. The entire time I never raised my voice -- I was in shock and was still in a state that I couldn't believe what they did to my dog. I asked her if that is how she ran a business -- telling people to go elsewhere and she told me she didn't care. I asked her her name and she would not tell me, she just yelled at me that she was the manager. I again asked for the owners name and she once more yelled that she was the manager. I left the store and told her that since she would not give me the owners name that I would be writting the newspaper and telling the city about my experience and she told me to go right ahead, that she didn't care. So I am.

Bad customer relations
I have only been there a total of 5 times. The first 3 cuts were not good.. I came back after a year & half of going elsewhere because I heard there was another dog groomer. She was willing to look at the diagram I provided and work with it. Between that cut and this one I took my dogs to another groomer that is quite far but great. I brought the dogs in to show her how I like them to look after a grooming. She had no problem with it. When the dogs were dropped off we were told that a specific person would be in soon . That name was unfamiliar to us and quite frankly I was scared. We called a few times and left messages requesting (begging) for a return call as we only wanted one specific groomer working on our dogs. When I picked up the dogs I explained to the bather/manager the confusion. Rather than saying she was sorry she never called back she was rude, nasty and said she was annoyed. I said I would not be back in that case. She threw her arms up and shrugged while crunching up her face. The shame is that she is losing business for the young groomer and owner who is not on site. I have read other reviews that indicate the manager/bather is not so nice. I should have taken heed.

Extremely Upset
My experience with Main Line Pet Spa was less than pleasant. After a grooming session left one 3.5 lb. canine almost completely bald and with "nick" marks I thought it should be brought to their attention.

The manager's rude and unapologetic response was "these things happen". When I expressed my disappointment I was told to leave and never come back because they don't need my business. The grooming session and attitude to the so-called "manager" was unacceptable.

If the owner wants repeat business and build their customer base they should take a look at the "hired help" and invest some time and money into hiring qualified, competent employees.

Main Line Pet Spa
My mother was dog sitting for me and dropped my girls off (2 long haired chihuahuas) for their haircut. They have been there several times and their information is written on their card. My mom said to do the usual. When I got them back it looked like they had been slightly trimmed but it was very uneven. At $54.00 per dog I wanted them cut a little shorter. When I called they said the girl that normally cut them was no longer there. I brought them back in to someone else for a shorter trim. When I got them back they were shaved. I guess they didn't want to leave any room for me saying they weren't cut short enough, not to mention my one dog was cut by the razor. They wanted us to bring her in to see her. My mother brought them in and was told by Mary Beth the manager, "this happens, I get hurt too" (and showed her a bite on her finger), by the "manager". She was yelling at my mother to get out and informed her we were "difficult" they already lost money on us and "our cards were ripped up, we're out of the system already". The groomer in the back started saying she was the one that originally cut them. The manager cut her off and said, "Don't waste your breath, they're out of they system, they're not welcome back". When my mom asked if the person yelling at her was the owner she said "no" and she didn't know who the owner was. She then said she did know but wasn't telling us. We were very happy with past experiences at Main Line Pet Spa but this was uncalled for. We were not difficult or threatening, we just brought to their attention that we weren't satisfied. I hope the owner is aware of what kind of manager they have running their business.

Uncaring and Unprofessional by Suzanne M. at InsiderPages
My experience with Main Line Pet Spa on Montgomery Ave in Narberth, PA was less than pleasant. After a grooming session left one 3.5 lb Chihuahua with nick marks I thought it should be brought to their attention since it wasn't brought to ours at pick up time. I was told to bring the canine back only to be harassed and told to leave the establishment when it was expressed how disappointed I was. I was told that these things happen. The grooming session, and the attitude of the so-called manager was unacceptable. If you are going to be in business handling ones pets, you should exhibit love or at least concern of the animals that are left in your care. This may have been a respectable and reliable establishment, at one time, but with this new manager in charge I wouldn't trust Main Line Pet Spa with my beloved pets. Certainly not a good way to run a business!
