I have one child at Main Street Kids, and one who has moved on to elementary school. My kids absolutely love this place! The teachers truly love the children and it is reciprocated from my children to them. My child in grade school is thriving - and I attribute much of that to the socialization and education attained at MSK. Angie and Linda (mother-daughter owners) have been there for 20 yrs+ with a very consistent staff of wonderful ladies; they have always been attentive to any question or request that I've had. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars...

Angie Bahm is the current owner. Last fall her mom Linda Baker and another woman owned MSK. Instead of hiring a lawyer Angie came to the parents for support in ousting the other woman. A Facebook page was created at Angie's request for the parents to communicate and we started asking questions. Like "would it be possible to start feeding our kids healthy food instead of fruit loops and rice crispy treats for breakfast". Families have now been kicked out of school and Angie's parent liaison has been fired as well. The kids, teachers and parents are discouraged from having conversations. MSK has a long wait list because of the schools past reputation therefore losing families is of no concern to Angie. Angie claims the pre-K class will have the kids ready for Kindergarten and has even claimed they teach as much as Montessori. Very bright children are taking classes to catch up to their peers in Kindergarten. I'm not sure MSK ever had curriculum as the teachers are not certified. Angie is very charming but if you have the option choose someplace that does have some type of curriculum and open communication because that charm ends as soon as your questions start.
