I'm not sure what on earth some of the negative reviews are talking about. I have eaten hear dozens of times, and the Pizza is always crisp and delicious, and the ingredients have always been fresh. Their sausage is particularly good (sliced, not loose). The sauce is perfect, the cheese not too greasy, and the Napolitano (thin) crust is the perfect thickness, just crisp and firm enough not to simply collapse under the toppings. The service has not always been perfectly attentive, but the employees have always been unfailingly friendly. I have never seen them be rude or unhelpful to anyone in my many trips here. I would recommend this pizzeria without hesitation.

It's good to see some Italians and New Yorker's not care for Mama's...I was seriously getting concerned about your taste buds out there. Canned mushrooms? Extra for tomato slices and then get a couple of skins? Under cooked? No Thanks.

We read on yahoo that Mama's Pizza was "the best" well that statement could not have been further from the truth!!! The pizza was terrible, I mean canned mushrooms...not even fresh vegetables! We paid $40.50!!!(for pizza and 1 small salad!!!!?!)we ordered 2 large pizzas 1 was plain cheese and the other had 4 (canned veggies)toppings, and 1 small greek salad....now the salad had raw mozerella cheese on it....a true Greek salad(I am Greek) does not have mozerella cheese on it or meat of any kind!! My husband was so upset he went in to get his money back and they refused they even called the cops...for pizza?!?! The right thing to do would have been to give our money back and we would have been happy, but no they said NO so here I am letting ya'll know.....DO NOT even waste your money or time at this place, the worst pizza in the world and terrible customer service!!! Save your money and go to Riverside Pizza. Just so you know we go out to eat a lot so we know about food and what customer service is supposed to be and you will not find either at this overpriced cheap quality pizza place!!

Great NY-style pizza is hard to come by down here. There are only one or two places in GA that really blow me away, but they are far from where I live and work. Mama's pizza is pretty good, though, especially if you catch them during their busier times (as the other reviewer mentioned).

Yes, I'm one of those who belives no one makes pizza better than New Yorkers! I lived in NJ for most of my adult life and grew up eating NY pizza. I thought I'd never have good pizza again once I moved to Alpharetta. So I was quite anxious to try Mama's. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. I've been there twice and both times I was disappointed. Granted, I didn't go at a very busy time and that may account for why my pizza tasted like it had been sitting most of the day. I think I'll stick with Johnny's NY Pizza.

I have been eating here for years and love it! I have tried Carmine's, Ippolitos, Johnny,s, Mellow Mushroom, Fellini's, Athens Pizza, and many more in search of the perfect pizza, but I never found perfection until I ate at Mama's! Jimmy and his dad make the best pizza pie around. If you are looking for a great pizza and a host of other delicious food. Try Mama's Pizza it is located off of exit 10 on Old Milton Parkway across from the Quik Trip. You won't regret it.
