Don't buy anything from Manor House, 1/31/2011

I bought a bathroom sink/countertop and vanity from Manor House. Fifteen days after the sink was installed, it cracked wide open - a crack from left to right at the top of the basin, a similar one... at the foot of the basin, and a crack down the center connecting the two. It cracked clear through the basin so water drained through into the vanity. It happened suddenly (while there was hot water in the sink) with a loud bang. When I called Manor House, the president of the company, Marie Salerno, was unwilling to do anything for me, telling me she couldn't be responsible for anything once it left her showroom, that she's just a middle-man and that because she didn't manufacture the sink ,"I can't possibly stand behind all the products I sell in my store." She even said the problem was my fault and that I was lying about how it happened. Eventually, she agreed to call the manufacturer when I pleaded with her to, but whether she did or not, I'm not certain because when I called the manufactuer 4 days later, they didn't know who she was. I am appalled by a business owner who admits she doesn't stand behind her products!
