Wow, it finely happened. Bad food, poor service. We had a party of four at our table. It started with our drinks, very little ice in all four. When our food came, three of the orders were missing an item, one was over cooked, and one person didn't even get their order. It was missed. Soon after the rest of the order was brought to the table along with the missing order, but, you guess it, it had a wrong ordered item that belonged to one of the first missing orders. So, All fours were messed up. Now came the billing, Wrong items were added to the wrong bills. What are the chances of all this happening ????? Then our server tells us how sorry for the mixup and says, ask for me on your next visit and your dessert will be on me. Really, Why not now ?????? No Discount, no Manager at our table. ????? Next time, I wonder????

We always have a fun time at the diner. I love the spanakopita. The food is sometimes hit or miss if I stray away from my regular items. But definitely have to get the bisque on the weekends. Every time my parents come to visit we have to get the bisque.

Good Food, but the service here wasn't that good, it took the person placing my order a few mins. to even submit my order because she was on a personal phone call this morning! how rude. but the food was great.

There are so many good things to say about Marietta Diner. It's open 24/7; there's usually not a long wait except during peak hours; they're happy to take large groups with no reservation. Their menu is LONG, although it can be hit-or-miss sometimes. The best things I've found on the menu are breakfast, Greek food (it's owned by a Greek family, after all), and any of the specials from the daily menu or the extra page in the middle of the menu. In addition to the complimentary bread and spanakopita, you also get soup, salad, or side items with most orders... sometimes I barely have room for the main course. And then there's their vast selection of cakes and other desserts. Overall, it's not gourmet, but it's tasty and filling comfort food, and it's a great value.

We aren't frequent visitors, and everytime we leave the Marietta Diner, we ask ouselves WHY did we return? Yes, you get a lot of food for the $$$, but it's ORDINARY. I whole heartedly believe that lasagne was Stouffers...or at least Stouffers quality. When a teenaged boy won't finish his plate of pasta, it must not be that great. They don't take reservations. My family is rather large, so dropping in w/a party of 7 always ends up w/us waiting. And waiting. And waiting. The dining room is ridiculously noisy, and not just from patrons, but from the music piped in at top volume. I esp love the crowded parking lot. W/the giant puddles...and no, it wasn't raining. It made my day when I was sitting outside w/my children & a busboy came out of the front door w/a huge bucket of soapy water...and dumped it a few feet from us. Really? Dinner rush on a Sunday is when you want to clean the flower pots at the door? I know the city mandates the minimum # of bathroom facilities for the restaurant, but three stalls? And the staff in there too? Walking past a crowded dining room & a wait station full of dirty dishes w/a toddler to get into a tiny bathroom w/employees waiting to use the facilities just about made me take the boys outside to use a urinal I keep in the trunk. I know the memories of the place will fade, and when we find ourselves outside the perimeter again, we'll try again.

I moved here from up north and was unable to find a diner that was anything like I was used to. This is what a real diner is suppose to be and I frequent them often. The best desserts and breakfasts around!!!

If you are looking for old fashion service, smiles, gorgeous decor and delicious food served in huge portions, then you MUST try the Marietta Diner. George and his crew never disappoint! The desserts are fabulous. The German Chocolate Cake is decadent with chocolate liquor in the icing. We have been 3 times since we "found" the diner and each time had something different on the menu. There is always more than enough to take home for another meal. Great value! Go with an appetite!

Always great variety, great service, great food. So many choices ... and don't even get me started about their desserts. I highly recommend the chocolate pie with the graham cracker crust or the Tiramisu cake. Wow!

I love the Marietta Diner. They have great food and wide variety to choose from. Their desserts are to die for. Two to three people can share a slice of cake. The only downfall is that it is super crowded everytime I go by.

We have lived in the area for 10 years but just got around to trying Marietta Diner a few months ago. And we've been back twice since. It's fun. It's friendly. The food is great, and there's lots of it. I love the spanakopita they server with every meal. This is now one of our 'go to' restaurants.

After months of passing by this restaurant, my girlfriend and I finally decided to stop in and try it out. It was recommended to my girlfriend and me that night by a salesman at a local store. We were impressed by the lively atmosphere and the nice decor of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. We were seated as soon as we walk in. We notice it was very busy but they seemed to have had a lot of staff. As a matter of fact, I noticed at various times some of them seemed to be just standing around socializing. At least they were a tad bit over staffed this evening. The waiter brought out some bread. The bread was good. My girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken gyro which came with fries and a side salad. The serving sizes were very impressive. I ordered stuffed pasta shells and it came with a soup, salad and bread. I ordered a cream of mushroom and a Greek salad. To our surprise, the food was very bland. Almost no flavor at all. I ate mine only because I had no breakfast and a small lunch, so I was hungry. I did not enjoy the food. The best part of my meal was the soup. My girlfriend's gyro was very bland too as she broke a piece of it and had me try it. We were very disappointed and we will not go back. We have eaten at other area diners including Buckhead, Sandy Springs and Duluth. All of those were clearly above this one. Maybe we had high expectations based on the other three, but all we know is that this one had very bland food.
