My family has been going to Dr. Steven Corwin at Marietta Eye Clinic for 20 years. They recently moved from Austell Rd. location but only a mile or two away. Still in Austell/Powder Springs area. Dr. Corwin is really a nice guy, very caring and knows what he's doing. Recently he did cataract surgery on my Mom and she is 20/20 with no glasses. Was a breeze. I know sometimes hard to get an appointment but I guess its because others know he's good. But once I got something in my eye and he fit me in the same day. Definitely a cut above most eye drs.

i requested an emergency appt. because my eyes were obviously infected. They were very swollen, red, runny and crusty. Unfortunately, I was "greeted" by the receptionist, Ms. Patra Brakefield (sp?), with a smug, "stop bothering me", "yeah, I see your eyes are red" indifference that one would have to see to believe. I was a potential new patient with crusted, red and burning eyes. I shared my service observations and stated that I would add my commentary to Kudzu. The receptionist just shrugged, turned her back to me and openly demonstrated that she did not or could not care. (One would have to care about service to care about reviews.) Needless to say, I left this office in a hurry, with my runny, infected eyes...I'll take my chances elsewhere. The front desk is the first impression. There are plenty of eye physicians to choose from. To the doctors at Marietta Eye Clinic, there are many more receptionists...

I went to Dr. Lows last year and was pleased with the treatment I got. Dr. Lows answered all my questions because I have type 2 diabetes and I of course am concerned about my eyes. My grandmother has macular degeneration and I asked about that.....I also asked her questions about the "floaters" have in my eyes.......I was concerned that it was retinal bleeding and she calmed my fears and told me after looking into my eyes that it wasn't. I will be going back for my annual exam later this month, and of course I will be seeing Dr. Lows. 5 stars all the way!!

I always go to the Marietta Eye Clinic for my eye care, and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and knowlegeable. The prices can be expensive, but if you have insurance it's not bad.
