My husband and I went last night, sat at the bar and had some delicious mussels and garlic bread. By this time, I was already getting full so I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled shrimp!! Very good, huge portions. Then, (as we were sitting by the well) a waitress came over to pick up drinks for her table. She had three fingers in her mouth biting her nails...she then proceeded to reach into a Styrofoam cup of sliced oranges (with the same three above mentioned fingers)and peel and eat an orange wedge. Not once but twice!!! Yuck!! I informed the bartendress but the oranges remained. ICK!! I'll think twice before returning!!

We used to go regularly. This place started off great, but every subsequent visit has been increasingly disappointing. This week the service was extremely poor, the server was inattentive and couldn't even get my drink order correct (sweet tea/party of one). My side vegitable never arrived so she had to comp me a cheesecake. The MFM crab cakes are extremely overrated, the "seafood" cakes have more flavor. Personally, I get better service and more value for my money at Red Lobster.

After reading the other reviews on Kudzu, I was wondering if they went to the same restaurant as we did. We've been at the MFM three times in the past 6 months. Even took my "finicky fish aficionado" last month, and he LOVED it! The prices are reasonable for the huge portions at lunch and dinner. Yes, there is a separate menu for lunch.

My family and I have been there a few times and the food was okay. The last time we went, it was horrible!!! Service was slightly slow and not busy at all. Don't know what we ate, I guess maybe "mystery fish", order was wrong and we were sick by the time we got home. I emailed them and never heard back. Eat a slice of dry burnt toast before going here!!! We will never go back!!!

They need to be more careful about who they hire. A college classmate of mine, a 21 year old girl, was hired there as a server, and was r.ape.d by a coworker in the parking lot a couple of months into the job. I realize this isn't the businesses fault, but they still could do to be a bit more discerning about employees.

We went there for a family occasion. The food was so bland we quit eating have way through. The fried seafood and the broiled were both lacking in any flavor. The soup we ordered had such a strong herb flavor we couldn't even eat it and sent it back. Then we ordered a piece of cake to go. You might see a big cake in the display but when they put it in the container they cut off a chunk of the cake but not of the price. We haven't been back since. If you go to Marietta Diner the food is always good and they give you the whole dessert that you pay for. Also it was so loud in the back room we couldn't carry on a conversation.

Overcharged us for simple veggies, though they were cooked really well. After challenging the high price, waitress brought us a new, lower bill. We signed the new one, but were charged to old, higher price. I found customer service to be awful in trying to remedy this situation.

The menu is enormous with so many things to choose from. Most of the items are a great value for the amount of food that you receieve. Its always really busy so be prepared to wait a little on the weekends but they do give out free appetizers!

We were treated fabulous from the moment we walked in the door. Our server Christian was so attentive. Even though we were a party of 9 including 4 young children we never ran out of drinks, the children could do no wrong, and he had a great personality. The food was excellant. the portions were HUGE! I would recommend MFM to anyone! A great expirence!

I kept hearing how great Marietta Fish Market was, so we decided to try it out. The lobster was overcooked, the soup and salad are the exact same as Cherokee Cattle Company (which I do not like) and my husband's food came out wrong. We only payed for one entree and took a dessert to go and still spent $30. NOT worth the money and NOT very good. The atmosphere is the best part.

We went to the fish market for a small family celebration. We were all very excited about trying it. We did not have to wait long, but that was the end of the positives. We were taken to our table, which was very hard to get to since they pack the tables in so tightly. We had an infant carrier with our almost two month old in it. I asked for a sling or a high chair to put the baby in and the manager or manager's uncle (depending on who we were confronting) told us to "put her on the floor" I refused so he yelled at me "PUT THE BABY ON THE FLOOR". No, I would not put my baby on the floor. Our waitress was wonderful and apologized constantly saying that they have this problem with him because he uses his heritage to say that is how they talk to people. Whatever. Do not use your heritage to be a rude jerk. He never offered an apology and avoided our table the rest of the night. The food was not bad, but I will not be paying an establishment to treat me or my family in that manner.

The atmosphere is probably the best thing going on here. I have only been once but my husband and I were there with another couple and we just didn't enjoy our entrees. The stuffing was "fishy". Something didn't smell/taste right. I was a little upset that they butterfly'd our filet mignon without asking. My husband's was ordered rare and mine med rare, no need to butterfly.

I am a huge fan of Marietta Diner & Cherokee Cattle Company. With the same owners taking on Marietta Fish Market I was sure it would be amazing! I was not wrong. The atmosphere makes me feel like I am on the beach eating fresh seafood. The shrimp and scallops are my favorites! I would give Marietta Fish Market 2 thumbs up plus one! Great food!

We have tried this place 4 times thinking it would get better-it did not. The fish is over cooked, over salted and so very oily. I requested dry grilled fish so it would not be so oily and it was still drenched. The owner apologized for that and for the fact I did not get my vegetable, but we finally had enough. Yes, the servings are large but so what. This is no better than Red Lobster and I am not sure they know how to cook fish either. There are better ways than slathering on the oil or "battered and fried".

Send your seafood loving friends here & they'll thank you! There is a wide variety of fresh seafood available. The desserts are great - as they are affiliated with the Marietta Diner. The restaurant is actually nicer than what you'd expect for the area. Not surprisingly, there are minimal choices for non-fish eaters, though.
