Honest, friendly, courteous, quick, and cheap, 6/07/2008

My tires are 4 years old and the last time I had an oil change the dealer said I needed new tires. Today I noticed one tire was almost flat and pulled into a service station and filled it with air... and went looking for the nearest tire store. It was Marietta Tire and Wheel. I went in and said my driverís side front tire had been almost flat. The man behind the counter said no problem, he would check it out. I figure they will definitely tell me it is too far gone to be fixed and sale me one tire and try to sale me four. I realized a few moments later that I had told him it was the front tire, but it was really the rear tire that had gone flat. I run out and tell him (after he had removed the front tire) and he said no problem, he would check them both. Now I figure I was going to have to by at least 2 tires. He came back in a few moments later and tells me the front tire is OK, the rear tire has a screw in it and it will cost $8.50. I was out of there in less then a half hour and only $8.50 poorer. They were friendly, courteous, quick, cheap and honest, in spite of the fact I had caused him extra work in 95 degree heat by misstating which tire
