Marietta Tree Service

They were the lowest quote of three by 60%. They were to remove a dead 100 foot tall tree by climbing it and cutting it in sections. The day they were to arrive they had trailer trouble and couldn't make it out for 2 more days. I had to call repeatedly to get an ETA and the office never returned my calls. Finally when they arrived I verified with the foreman they were to climb and cut and he said yes. A few minutes later the whole tree was laying in my yard and my neighbors yard as they cut it at the bottom. The had to return the next day to finish as their chipper broke because they were feeding wet wood into it while it was raining.

It took them almost 4 weeks time to return and fix the damaged yard. I again had to call every couple of days to get broken promises. I also had to water the new grass twice a day for to weeks.

Don't go with the lowest quote unless you are prepared for their headaches. I do not recommend this contractor.

Tracy, Teresa and the crew are outstanding! This was the 4th time in 15 years that Marietta Tree Service has taken trees down in my yard. Once they finished taking down 70 ft. plus trees, they clean up and leave everything looking crisp. I'm pretty sure mild-mannered Tracy probably wears a red cape and leaps tall buildings. Thanks Guys - AGAIN!!

We had a tree on our fence that was ready to fall and hit the neighbors house, I caled several services, and only 3 out of 6 that I called showed up. The 6 services I called all came from Kudzu. With all three estimates on hand and with meeting all 3 companies, I chose Marietta Tree service because how professional they were when talking with them. All 3 estimates were within $100 of each other. They came out and had the job done and cleaned up the very next day, and even cleaned up some old debris from another storm for no extra charge. When they left it looked like there was never a tree there! Call these guys first!!!!

They were very prompt in coming out and providing a written estimate. From that point forward, these guys were entirely unprofessional. I had to call them back 3 times to try to schedule the job because they never returned my call. Most importantly, when I finally did connect with the scheduler, he told me the owner would not honor my written estimate and was willing to do the job for 40% more than the estimate. This isn't a complex business and there are many options. I would highly recommend you avoid them entirely and take your business elsewhere, as I did.

These guys came out and did an estimate - very nice staff. I was very pleased up to the point of scheduling the actual work. They kept saying they would call me right back and never did. I called several times and they would not give me a firm date for the service. I gave up after 2 weeks and just went with another company. What a waste of effort and time.
