popcorn and vomit
Took my 3 year old grandson to see Pooh movie last week arriving 15 minutes before the movie started - cost $13.50 for a 3 year old and a 60 year old to see an one hour movie! (actually I think it was one hour nine minutes) Apparently unbuttered popcorn is a BIG no-no in the movie worldA standard medium size unbuttered popcorn has 1000 empty calories - do the math to add the butter! Hey, why not just a let fast food place open up in the lobby! We wonder why today's children are such chunks! Well, somebody's tummy revoltedthe cleaning product the personnel cleaned up the mess with was so bad, my throat closed up, my nose ran, and my eyes watered until we had to leave.so, really I paid $13 plus for 45 minutes.the manager didn't have a clue. He stood there with his mouth opened when I explained my disappointment. He said not a word....

Overpriced!
$9.00 for 2 year old for a matinee, Need I say more? Carmike at Atlantic, 5 miles away is $6.50 and $7 for adults. Also had to peel my child's shoes from the floor in the theater. You'd think charging $9.00 for a matinee, that they could afford to use a mop.We will go elsewhere from now on.

Great movie viewing experience!
Since this theater opened I haven't watched a movie anywhere else! I'm so glad that a quality movie theater is close to home. If you live in the Franklinton/Wake Forest area, there is no reason to leave town to see a movie in a nice theater. Great sound system and comfortable seating. The only drawback I can think of is the over-abundance of loud teenagers on Friday and Saturday nights, but I prefer to go during the day on weekdays or late at night.

Finally, a multiplex for Wake Forest!
Living out in northeast Raleigh or in Wake Forest makes seeing movies an inconvenient process. At last a multiplex was opened in Wakefield, and it measures up in every way. Excellent concessions, Coke products, good popcorn topping, Icees, stadium seating, great sound and visual quality, and good comfortable seats with appropriately-sized cupholders. The only detraction from the experience is the intrusive on-screen advertising slides with sound, as opposed to quieter slide-only advertising at other theaters.
