Needs to Get Back to Basics, 11/03/2008

Marquis might have been good at one time, but there seems to be little care in how our property is handled at this point. Financials, Violations, Questions from Homeowners - the core is no longer... there.

Management Company Underestimates Tenants, 8/21/2008

Marquis Management Inc arbitrarily sent me a letter stating that I would be fined $50 because noise was coming from my unit. Not only was this a false accusation but the procedure for assessing... homeowners fines was totally disregarded according to the HOA by-laws. This was not the first time. I am at the point where this is becoming harassment. On a previous occasion, I phoned to make a request and Mary Carroll the President was rude, impatient, condescending and totally inappropriate for a management company handling such a large HOA. I was agast! In today's market it is about customer service. They have fallen seriously short in this area. They (I should say, Mary Carroll) have yet to realize that there are three sides to every story, the two people involved and the truth. Mary Carroll has chosen to hear one side of a story, coupled with her prejudgement and impose her law, an arbitrary fine! Has she not read the bylaws or does she think people who buy these homes are buffoons and illiterates? Greenwood Homes still needs to sell several vacant townhomes. With such a management company they may want to review their services as partly responsible for why so many units have sat vacant for so long. Marquis Management Company needs to go back to customer service 101.
