I would just like to start by saying how amazed i am with this company. I just had a baby 6 weeks ago, and low and behold my washing machine decided to stop working. It started with the clothes not having the water drain out of them. I was panicking, here i was with a new born going through 8 outfits a day and not being able to wash her clothes. I had no idea what i was going to do, then a friend of mine gave me the phone number to J martins. I called and explained the situation, and the next day i was on the schedule. The Tech Dave came out and diagnosed my unit and that he had to order a part, but within 3 days my part was there and they called me to come back out. They were very kind and fixed my Maytag washer the next day. While Dave was here he took a look at my dryer vent, at no cost to me. I was very surprised to find out that they were a disaster. He then notified me they also offer Dryer vent cleaning and told me about the special they have on. I am so thankful that he did, so i booked my appointment for the next week. Thank you so much J martins

This is a really lousy service company. Nobody ever picks up the phone or updates or responds to voicemail. It's been two weeks since the repairman first came and took a look at the refrigerator and haven't heard back from them. No response to phone calls or voicemail. Stay away from this company if you need peace of mind.

These guys (Jeff), replaced a drain pump on an Electroluxe front loader. They were on time, professional and did the job without any problems. I would recommend them without reservation.

I've used J. Martin a couple of times. They started off great but I quickly started feeling like I wasn't getting what I was paying for. They had to fix my refrigerator twice and I had to bring someone else in to fix my air conditioner. I wouldn't use them again.

Lowe's sent them to our rescue to repair our 2 new appliances still under warranty which were supposed to have been repaired by another company. On both of their visits they showed up when they were supposed to and now our appliances are trouble free.

I was in a bind and needed someone to come same day. No techs were available so the owner, Joe Martin, came to help. He arrived on time and was very helpful. Would recommend this company to friends and family. (refrig repair)

Their technicians are pleasant and competent. However, the company does not return phone calls well. I have been waiting for them to finish a repair on my refrigerator for 2 months, left three messages, and none have been returned.

J Martin Appliance & Repair came out to repair my refrig. I must say I was impressed with the time they spent in making sure that my refrig. was working properly. And, I was given a guarantee on their work. I really am thankful that they are there with a timely response to my service order.

Took 3 visit to replace a ice maker. According to the owner when he inspected the work, the Ice Maker was incorrectly installed. They charged me to replace a water value that was not broken, before they realized they installed the ice maker incorrectly. They offered to refund the labor to install the water value, but refused to reimburse me for the water value they replaced in error. After I filed a complaint with the BBB, Kudzu and Citysearch, they refunded my money. Check out CitySerach for more info

I rECENTLY HAD J MARTINS OUT TO REPAIR 2 APPLIANCES. ONE WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND ONE WAS NOT. THE PARTS CAME IN A TIMELY MANNER and INSTALLED. J MARTINS NAME WAS GIVEN TO ME BY A CLOSE FRIEND AND I WILL ALSO RECCOMEND THEM IN THE FUTURE.

Alantaga2 broken icemaker .the first tech that went to his home had to order a part that was not made any more for this unit. we got one made for this customer it took 20 pluse days to recieve from factory.but he complained about the time it took.the refrige was over 6 years old.hes complaint.was broken arm no way to test until replaced.@ this point installed arm complete for customer.the next three days past mr gallow calls in hollow ice cubes.this is usually a lack of water issue.ordered mr gallow a new water valve and sent different tech to install it.the next day mr gallow calls and states that his ice maker pooring water into the ice bucket and freezing.@ this point the call was turn over to me as any third trip call should be.I went to mr gallow home.what i found was that the tube to the ice maker had got pushed over to the left side sending water all into the ice bucket.our tech on second trip installed it wrong.sorry @this point mr gallow stated that he wanted all money refund for the mistake made.I stated that.we will refund labor as a peace offering. And i have a witness with me that day.he refused and said he was making complaint to bbb and the net.he did so as stated.he called and sent email to show me he did so.we as as good company agreed to refund water valve and labor for install.144.25 we kept the money for ice maker that was broke on the six year old refrigerator.I would think asking him to just pay for part only. we are being more than fair.
