Hit or Miss massage
I've had an annual membership since Nov 2008. The first masseuse (deep massage requested) basically just meandered around with no real plan. It was the type of massage a girlfriend may give who has no massage training. The second visit, the masseuse was overly rough and although I told her several times to lighten the pressure she just kept at it. Awful massage and painful. Trust me, I've had many deep massages that are in fact a little painful, but in a good way. This was just painful in a bad way. I'm talking elbow in back with all her full weight pushing on it. On the third visit, the first words out of the masseuse's mouth was "I think I'm just tired of rubbing bodies all day and want to do something different." The massage itself was better than the others, but lackluster also. I complained to the staff and the 4th visit was actually quite good. Ditto for visit #5 (actually a great massage). The girl's name was Taika (tie eeka). So. the bottom line is you really must do your homework and find the right masseuse. The management really does not do a proper job hiring. Obviously, many of the staff has little to no training. The PRICE is cheap, but if you have to factor in 3-4 poor massages, then COST is just as much as a regular "professional" massage without all the hassle.
