I would not call that a massage, 6/02/2012

My husband and myself had a massage at there today. It was our first time trying out Massage Heights. The receptionist was pleasant, as was the environment. But this is where the good stuff stops.... The "massage therapists" were not good at all, to be quite honest, they seemed not to know what they were doing. To be fair, the lady who gave me my massage at least did ok on my neck area, but apart from that, she only stroked over the skin not even getting close to putting any pressure on muscles or massaging them much less. The young man giving my husband's massage was clueless. He would start massaging an arm, for example and then would stop in the middle of it for no apparent reason and not come back to finish the rest, he did not do symmetrical work on the whole body and even though asked repeatedly, he did not even try to increase the strength of the massage. He told my husband that he could not put more strength in because he would damage some tissue. Then he pulled out one of those little plastic massage things and rolled it over the area. Excuse me, but if we wanted that, we could do that for much cheaper at home. And also, we've had professional massages before and know what a real massage feels like and what constitutes adequate pressure, and this was not it. This was more like a VERY expensive application of lotion.

Find somewhere else. Management is horrible., 9/17/2010

The manager of this facility is rude, patronizing, and disrespectful. I won't return, despite my generally positive experiences with the massage therapists. I had purchased as a gift for my mother a... package of 6 prepaid massages. I was very clear at the time of purchase that I didn't want a time-bound contract, as she did not live in the state, and was told that it was no problem. When presented the usual paperwork (and here is where I went wrong, in believing that the business would honor my agreement with them), I was told that I didn't need to sign any additional forms, and that all of the information about my purchase was in the computer. Cut to my last visit, where I was told that my mother's "6 month contract", the one I specifically did not purchase, had expired. When I asked the manager to verify with the employee who had sold me the contract that this was not what I had purchased, I was told it was "irrelevant" what I had actually purchased and that he had no intention of honoring the agreement. In total, my mother received only 2 of the purchased 6 massages. Given that, and other shady dealings, he did manage to bilk me out of about $250 dollars that day. I hope it was worth it to him, as I will never again give any of my money to his business. He showed absolutely no interest in retaining me as a client, despite the fact that I'd been a customer of this facility for over a year, receiving on average 2 massages a month.

Good massage, good price

I have used this location twice and my husband & Son have used it once each. It is a very nice facility, which may surprise you from the facade of the building. The front desk is friendly and efficient. I have had a different therapist each time and the massages have been fine. You get what you pay for. I would recommend this place for a relaxing massage. If you have a problem, I would seek out another facility and pay more.

Wish I didn't have to write this

Management at this facility are repulsive. However, the massage therapists are good. Prices are decent, but mgmt overbooks, books therapists that aren't there. Whatever you do don't but a contract from them, they will give you the strong sell on it. Once they have you , you become second rate. They only offer a "we can reschedule" if they make a mistake. There are too many other places to go that offer better service.

Outstanding Massage

I really enjoyed my experience at Massage Heights. The staff was so welcoming and the massage therapist was really in tune to want I needed. I also loved the warmth of the facility's environment and will definalty be back soon.

Great Place to get a Massage

Massage Heights is a great place to go for a great massage from an experienced well trained therapist. I was having some trouble with my back, and since I've been going there my back has been feeling so much better. The prices are only 39 bucks when you first go in, and if you want to be a memeber, you just buy a 1hr massage each month to get 50% off ALL services. So that works for me because I don't want to pay 80 bucks for an hour massage each time I go. You should check this place out if you want to relax and lessen pain and tension. Place is clean and staff is nice.

Highly recommended

I'm a massage 'snob' and I'm here to tell you, this place rates way up there on the scale. A friend told me about it, so I thought I would give it a try. What do I like? It's got the usual fodder for a massage studio...nice music, quiet, and so on. The BEST and most important part..the massage. It was great. I got an hour and a half treatment for $60. Can't beat it. Gotta try it!

Incredible Therapists

Massage Heights in Sandy Springs has got to have the best therapists in town. I've had three massages there with three different therapists and they are all amazing. Staff is great, always happy. Really affordable too.
