I have been going to Master Gunman since this spring. I feel extremely safe shooting there as the rangemasters Andy, John and Mac really looks out for their customers. They may ask new patrons if they are "experienced" might quiz them a little on safety and will boot them for any really dumb moves. I mean, I don't want anyone that does not know basic safety in the lane next to me... right! The range it self is older, pretty shot up, could use a little fixing up, but that aside, its reasonably priced, have good cost on ammo and well ventilated. -Scott

I purchased a gun and learned to shoot. I went to the Master Gunman with some friends who are experienced in shooting. We came to shoot on Monday night (Ladies Night) when it is half price ($5 per hour for women) between 6pm and 9pm. The hour with targets cost less than $10. I have friends, protection, and confidence. Master Gunman is close and my friends are now closer.

Obviously, safety should come first, and it does at Master Gunman. My wife and I have been shooting at MG for over a year, and we love it because they don't allow unsafe shooters to use the range. I've been to a range that doesn't follow this practice, and it's truly frightening. Nothing ruins your shooting experience like shooter, who doesn't have the experience or the sense to safely use their handgun, accidently/negligently discharging their weapon in your direction. I've witnessed men and women of different races being told that they wouldn't be allowed to shoot, and some people just can't accept being told "No". I've brought friends, who happen to be African Americans, there to shoot, and they have been treated with nothing but courtesy and respect. This is because they were sensible adults instead of spoiled adult-aged children whose only experience with firearms is from Call of Duty. The people at MG care most about the safety of their customers, even if it means they'll get called "rude" or "racist" or lose out on a few bucks here and there. That's why I give MG 5 stars. After all, guns aren't toys, they're deadly weapons.

The class is great! I took the July 31st class and I knew nothing about guns. Now I know how to shoot and how to shoot safely. Master Gunman is safe and inexpensive. All you have to do is listen to the rules and have fun. Everyone should take the Master Gunman class.

This place is a pleasant place to go and shoot. John and Andy are friendly and helpful. I have never been there when I had to wait to shoot. Not the best facility, but a very good value and pleasant to visit. Good gun safety and instruction course for beginners is available.
