We had new roof installed in April/May 2015. Roof was installed with little to no issues. Fast forward to Feb 2016, we noticed that the sealant on the flashing has eroded (9-10 months of exposure) and some of the nails had rusted. We attempted to reach Luke Hendon via phone & email and had no luck. The phone numbers had been disconnected, emails were not returned, and the website was no longer active. Eventually, we were able to reach Luke through a third party. Once contact was made with Luke on 3 Feb 16, we sent Luke several pictures of the areas of concern. Finally, on 7 Feb 16 we received an email from staying he would have us scheduled for the repairs the week of 7 Feb 16. On 11 Feb 16, no work had been done, so we contacted Luke. Luke responded saying it would be the following week, 16 Feb. Well, 16 Feb came and went, no word from Luke. Finally on 17 Feb, Luke replied that he would ensure the work was done on 18 Feb. In addition, Luke made it a point to say,"keep in mind I'm doing this as a courtesy, this is not covered under our worksmanship warranty. It's considered wear and tear." On 18 Feb, the work had been complete, however it was not an easy process. Our main complaint is that we were unable to get a hold of Luke because the numbers provided were disconnected and not forwarded to a working number. Lastly, please view the pictures to see the workmanship, dirty rags, and nails left on our property.

Maxsus was extremely helpful in working with our insurance. We were initially not approved, but they were able to show the insurance company the evidence needed for a new roof which was then approved without any trouble. They said what they were going to do. The roofing crew was very hard working and finished our roof in 48 hours on 2- 110 degree heat index days. They cleaned up everything like they had never been here. I would highly recommend Maxsus to anyone. Their service was honest and to be respected.

Our home in Chattanooga TN recently suffered from bad hail and wind damage. Maxsus handled our insurance claim without a problem after we were originally denied.. All we were responsible for was submit the claim and they took care of the rest- no problem. We received a brand new roof, siding, windows courtesy of our insurance. Will recommend to family and friends. A+ work.

The overall experience with Maxsus was excellent. They were responsive, timely, and patient (with the insurance company 'red tape' and all). Our roof looks 100% better and the addition of a ridge vent has made a big difference. I would use them again and recommend them without question.

We had a small roofing job but we felt it was treated with the same care and attention you would receive from a larger job. I called Maxsus and Luke Hendon came out that very day, took pictures to show me the problems areas and gave me a fair price. I thought they provided great service and went beyond the job expectations. I will definitely call them again in the future.

Maxsus did a terrific job replacing my roof. They were completely professional and thorough. We are extremely pleased with the results and with the whole experience. They worked with us and our insurance company every step of the way. I would recommend Maxsus to anyone at any time. Great job, guys!!

Maxsus, Inc. installed a new roof on our home in late October this year. We perceived the company to be professional and honest. We were under no obligation to use Maxsus as our job was not an insurance claim. We got four quotes on the job, including one from Maxsus, and they were all comparably priced. Maxsus was not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. Luke was extremely patient and accommodating in helping me select the type and color of shingle, coordinating the scope of the work,the delivery, execution, and clean up of the job. His roofers are hard working, efficent, and produced a quality result. We are satisfied with the final outcome and confident in our decision to select Maxsus, Inc. as our roofing contractor. We believe one complaint against a company should not be enough to create a landslide of suspicion and rejection; deal with your prospective roofing company representatives when you are getting quotes, and decide for yourself. Trust and rely on your gut feeling about the honesty, integrity, and reliability of those company representatives. Talk to people you know who have had work done by the company you're inclined to hire and do not base your decision upon postings on a website but rather on what you find through your own tangible research.It saddens me to think that one disgruntled person could result in such grievous damage to the good reputation Maxsus, Inc. had worked so diligently to develop. Maxsus just finished our roof today after 2 years of battling with insurance companies. Maxsus entered the picture about 3 months ago and stood by us every step of the way! I'll admit I signed a contract before checking online and was concerned after reading the bogus claims of some (and even questioned Luke about them). Luke met me head on with answers to my concerns. I know liars; he's not one. The roof is on now and simply beautiful! Two guys came out this morning to ensure the yard was clean since the crew worked past dark last night to complete the job. I now know exactly why the negative reviews are bad after my horrible experience with Maxsus Roofing. It all started with an inspection of my roof. First of all, I have never had hail where I live in 10 years, nor any stong winds. Soon as Luke (salesman) inspected my roof, he told me I had severe hail and wind damage. Then he says to call my insurance adjuster, which I did, to set up an appointment with the 3 of us. When we all met, the Insurance Adjuster said there was no hail nor wind damage at all! But roof needed replacing do to a very cheap quality installation and materials used before (worn-out). So, Luke tells me that (his) company will do the job with all the other BS that came with his talking. Next thing I know I have a bunch of Mexican sub-contractors banging on my roof making a god-awful mess with no dumpster in sight. roofing materials promised were the wrong brand (a very cheap brand - won't mention), and horrible clean-up job with nails left everywhere and roofing stuck in bushes. I should have never in my life givin him that Huge Insurance check up front! Sub-contractors that did my roof said materials and labor only cost about $3500 OMG! They are operating a major scam here people. Never saw Luke ever again after he collected his check. I Read BBB report That other customers say on forum here, and they don't just have 1 negative customer folks, It's alot of complaints! go check it out, along with false advertising complaints, lawsuits, etc..... Run!!!!!!

ATTENTION: This is not a customer of Maxsus. We have never done a roof for this person. Trust the 5 star reviews and trust that Maxsus can provide you with real customer testimonials and quality work backed by our 5 year workmanship warranty.
I don't know why some of these reviews are bad, I would have never imagined that in a million years when I began my roofing process with this company. I told a neighbor about maxsus and they said they were wary of them because of their kudzu review. I told them not to worry and that the company was great. My sales associate, Chris, was extremely friendly and willing to work with me every step of the process. He is currently assisting my neighbor to repair his roof.

I got a quote too! They are definitely rated a BIG FAT "F" at the BBB, go check them out. Their company is spelled "MAXSUS" not "MAXXUS" as incorrect posting says below. Also reviewed all postings on site. Read all negative posts and their is no way I'm going to contract with this company. Who wants to do business with an "F" rated company! Positive ratings look very suspicious, as if written by "Maxsus" (notice the same pattern of words, structure, and even the ID's are similar. My suggestion: Contract with another Roofer and stay away from this one for sure!

Maxsus, Inc. takes pride in the work we perform. Unfortunately, due to one complaint with the BBB, we have an unfavorable rating. Currently, Maxsus, Inc. is working to re-establish our favorable rating based on the circumstances surrounding said complaint. Maxsus offers testimonials from satisfied homeowners, as well as, options to view some of the work performed by Maxsus, Inc. Maxsus, Inc. believes these options far outweigh the once complaint against the company.
I got several quotes for my roof that I was going to replace whether I had an insurance claim or not. I also had internal water damage. Maxsus saw hail damage & offered to coordinate with my insurance claim adjuster appt to support my "claim". This went smoothly as did selecting roof color. Every other aspect went smoothly, either on time or even slightly ahead of time--delivery of shingles, delivery of trash bin, crew arrival, etc. Crew did great job of cleaning up. My ceilings were painted but not to my satisfaction--& Maxsus responded quickly to my "complaint" & I ended up a very happy and satisfied customer. One of the smoothest home repairs/changes I have had done in 18 years.

Luke and Domonic were very thorough, and meticulous. My yard looks better than when they arrived! Everything went exactly as was promised and the roof looks fantastic! And it's energy-star compliant so I get a tax rebate! Way Cool! I have lots of Christmas lights on the house and they worked around them and made sure everything still worked afterwards. They were very careful to re-install my DirecTV dishes exactly as they were so the service worked perfectly immediately after. 250 words which is not nearly enough to say all I'd like to, but I very highly recommend this company!!
