We very much appreciated the care Dr.McLaughlin and all his staff gave our cat Cozmo when he was so very sick. They all represent the epitome of love, compassion and professionalism. Always listened to us and never sugar coated the diagnostic results. They sent us the most heartwarming card just a few days after Cozmo died of the cancer and fluid in his lungs. How very sweet and thoughtful :-)

I'm not certain where the bad review came from as far as excess fees. The reason we started going there several years ago was because we are able personalize their recommendations and do away with excess fees. I'm also very fond of the staff. We moved away and came back after a few years and they remembered us and our dog by his name "Bear." I especially love their kenneling service.

My husband and I took in a stray cat(saved his life)and made him our indoor cat and then brought him to a vet that gave him all of his $400.00 of shots. We then brought him to McLaughlin's to get neutered and when we made the appt. they said it would be $160.00 (and we told them of all the shots he had been given) so he was up to date. When we brought our sweet Patrick in the receptionist was very nice and the vet tech. that took us in the back was very cold and rude. She handed us a bill saying our estimated cost for the day would be $369.00. Are you kidding me..they were going to do all these tests on him which he had just had done..including a fecal test which he had just had done 2weeks prior..I understood the distemper booster but all other test were an attempt to generate cash for there practice. Shame on you McLaughlin's what happened to vets in practice because they love animals. We have just made an appt. at the humane society for Patricks distemper booster and neuturing for $104.00!!!

Desk staff less than enthusiastic. Vet assistants wonderful! Dr. McL pretty condescending, but the other vet is FANTASTIC! My cat usually has to be sedated to go to the vet, but she purred and cuddled with him!
