When searching for a school, we wanted a place that would provide a nurturing environment and the opportunity to experience more than the traditional day cares had to offer. We searched long and hard for the right school for our children and found Meadowbrook Montessori School. I love that Meadowbrook feels like a home away from home for my boys. Our family has been with Meadowbrook Montessori now for 3 years and I am thankful every day that a school like this exists for my children. My oldest son will be attending "Kindergarten" next year in the primary casa and my youngest is currently in the Nido (infant room). In fact, I was incredibly happy when the school decided to open up the Nido, so that he would be able to naturally transition into the pre-primary casa at this fantastic school. I could not be more pleased with the Montessori approach to education and the emphasis on a sense of independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child's natural psychological, physical, and social development. Montessori education works with human nature, rather than against it. The guides in the classrooms are kind, professional and clearly have a love of teaching that I feel translates to a love of learning for the children. The administration is friendly, professional and, most importantly, available and hands on. I would highly recommend this school and the Montessori approach to learning.

After careful consideration and several different schools I chose one that was a AMI school. I have now realized after a complete full school year and the lack of my research that you can claim to be AMI and not be in the entire school. I also learn that just because it looks like a montessori school doesn't mean that the director or staff are montessori trained. I am now under the impression that just because it is called Montessori doesn't mean it is. Please be aware and ask for credentials. When I finally realized this I started to look deeper into reviews. One of the reviews I relied on at the beginning was Kudzu and sadly they have been unreliable. This school has a terrible retention rate for children and employees. Something that is not good for a true Montessori community.

Meadowbrook Montessori has been the best experience for my 2 children! My son knows his continents at age 3. Now when we go on pretend pirate adventures it is to Africa and Asia! My 22 month old does Math and the best part is they learn while also learning to take care of themselves, their friends, and their environment! The owners and guides treat the students (and parents) like family. We could not have been more pleased especially because traditional day care was NOT working for my eldest.

Meadowbrook Montessori School is a wonderful, family run business that excels in teaching pre-school children. The Montessori method is followed and the highly trained teachers are smart, patient, kind and fun. My four year old son LOVES his time at school and is learning vast amounts of information and real life skills - and he thinks it is all just play! As a mother of three, I have seen how much better Montessori school is than regular day care, and Meadowbrook is the best school in our area!

My 3 year old has learned so much with these ladies. This is the best environment for learning that I have experienced. Their style of teaching is awesome and unique. They take your child and help them develop into wonderful, smart young people. They fall in love with your children and treat them like their own. And my little boy loves going there everyday and he loves his teachers.
