My father in law brough my dog here to have him groomed. He is 79 years old and hard of hearing. My dog is currently under vet care at another vet, but he just wanted to have him groomed. There was a miscommunication between him and the receptionist and they ended up giving my dog shots that were not authorized, shots that he just had in April and an expensive office visit in addition to grooming him. They are on a very fixed income and when I called to discuss the misunderstanding with the office manager, instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, Rachel Slone (office manager) told me that I needed to have a better grip on what my in-laws were doing with my dog and that maybe we should look into care for my father in law because he didn't understand the receptionist. First of all, no need to get personal. Second of all, if a new dog is brought in for grooming (or in their case, they thought care), isn't the first step to scan the dog for a micro chip or get old vet records before performing service? He is both micro chipped AND has a vet tag on his collar. Do not take your dog here, they are rude, not thorough and give your pet unecessary care just for an extra buck.

This was by far the best veterinary experience I have ever had. My dog normally stresses out very bad at the vet but something about this place made the entire visit very easy. It starts as soon as you walk in the door. Angela, the girl behind the counter was very sweet, helpful, and efficient. They seemed to be very busy but she was still able to get everything done very professionally. Once we got into the room my dog began stressing out even more. She was so kind to take the time to give my dog a treat and talk sweet to him and try to calm him down it seemed to work. That has never happened before. Even though she told me it would be a few minutes before they could get to us because they were so busy it was no more than 5 minutes before the technician came in to get the weight on my dog and within minutes after that Dr. Bressman came into the room. He was very easy to communicate with and understand. He was also very thorough with my dog's examination. We were in and out within 30 minutes. Very convient for my busy life. The only complaint I have is that this place really needs to be updated. The wall paper is peeling everywhere and it reminds me of the 80s. It also smelled a lot like animal poo but I guess that's what a good animal hospital smells like. I will definitely be back!

Dr Baranak is a cat vet that really goes the extra mile. I brought a very sick cat in on a Saturday morning. Dr Baranak took her to her own home for the weekend to treat her and charged me a extremely low fee. She is the best!!!!

I have been going to MBAH for several years. I had moved from the immediate area and tried to use other vets for convenience, but missed the great care MBAH took with my animals. Other vets were only caring when they were ready to suggest an expensive plan/solution; they did not show the compassion for the animal unless there was alot of money involved. MBAH has helped me with new dogs and dogs at the end of their life, and they shared in the extreme feelings of both situations. Great VET!

We have been taking our dogs there for years. Now, we are facing "end of life" care with our oldest. The doctors, techs and office staff are all so sensitive and caring. They patiently and comprehensively answer my questions and they treat my dogs the way I treat them. You will not find better care for your pets than at Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital. I can't recommend them enthusiastically enough.

My dog and I have been going to M.B.A.H for several years. Not only are the doctors very nice and caring, the girls working behind the desk were sweet and very helpful. The prices are a little higher than other vets but I would pay double for the care and friendly attitude you get here! The groomers are also nice and do a great job! My puppy smells and looks great! Thank you M.B.A.H...

These people are animal lovers. There are always puppies or kittens looking for a home, as well as "office pets," and everyone at the practice is very friendly. When I lost a long-lived dog I felt that everyone really cared. Special shout out to a wonderful front desk person: Noelle.

We have a 17 year old mixed breed and have been going to Medlock Bridge AH for most of her life. They saved her life with a proper diagnosis early on. Now that she is at the end of her life they have been very caring and helpful in making her comfortable during her last days. God Bless Dr. B and her staff!

I have two dogs, one of them is older and all the vets and staff have been very helpful in keeping her comfortable and treating older dog issues. They are reasonable on their prices and never oversell or over promise. When my older dog got injured and could barely walk they came out and took her back immediately and were super compassionate. The only negative is that they are a walk in only clinic and sometimes they get busy and you wait if your pet isn't in urgent need. However, I will gladly wait to receive that kind of care.

why is it that everytime I come in to pick up my dog from grooming I have to wait at least 15 minutes for the dirty blonde at the front desk to finish eating or finish taking a personal call. there NEVER is a ' Hi, I'll be with you in a sec'. There is never an acknowledgement ever! then I am called 'hon' by a girl who is at least 20 years younger than I am in the most arrogant and condescending manner. Get with it, GIRL, no one likes being called 'hon'!! The groomers do a great job but the service at the front desk is TERRIBLE!!!!

This is a wonderful hospital and grooming facility for any of your pets. I have two dogs and a cat. Both the grooming and hospital are wonderful to my animals and they always come home smelling wonderful. Everyone is very friendly and their prices are reasonable.

We've had a few vets over the past 30 years, and Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital's vets and staff are the best we've found in Georgia. They're compassionate, caring, capable, and knowledgeable. We have several cats, and I would not hesitate to recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for the best care (also offer boarding and grooming services) for their pets.

I took my dog here 3 times, over the course of 3 months, with a compalont that she was not eating well, and didn't have energy. They said she was old, feed her canned food. Each time I took her back I got a "blow me off" response. I requested an xray- they took blood for a work up.Never got the results of the tests. 2 weeks after that visit my dog was very ill. I called another vet, who examined her. She had a tumor the length of her stomach. The vet said it was so large it would have been noticable in an exam for at least 3 months. She died that day. Now they are trying to sue me to collect the $ for tests I never even got the results on. Stay away from these folks- they are noce, but very incompetant.

Dr. Cutchin works at Medlock on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My cat was very sick and was close to dying. Dr. Cutchin worked a miracle and has saved his life. Dr. Colson worked well with Dr. Cutchin and me. The staff at Medlock were responsive, caring, and took really good care of my cat when I had to leave him there for testing all day. I will go back with my other cats and I will board the cat that is now on meds when I have to travel.
