They DO honor Coupons!
Update!
Within hours, Jennifer from Mellow mushroom got back to me!
"I am really sorry about the misunderstanding at our Buckhead location. We spoke to Chris this morning and informed him that the $5 off coupon can be used for dine in or take out. I would like to send you a $10 voucher for our mistake and hope that you will visit us again.
I will also be checking our other coupons to make sure the redemption policies are stated clearly and have the customer in mind."
This restaurant did the right thing!!! :)
I love mellow mushroom. I used to work there as a teenager and I've been eating there ever since. We pickup orders on an almost weekly basis. One weekend I made it there three times. I've signed up for their emails and get coupons every once in a while, but i can't use them because they are dine-in only. I understand that, because it says so. I got a receipt a few weeks ago to fill out a survey for $5 off a $15 order. No mention of dine in only. At all. Even so, the manager, Chris, would NOT honor it. Stating those were dine in only too. It doesn't say that. He put it off that he was just doing what he was told. So I guess it's the owner, Scott's fault then? Their new marketing program is a pain in the customer's stomach, cause now I have indigestion. Thanks! Why can't restaurants just do the right thing?!?
