I'm a satisfied patient
I've been seeing Dr. Menon for about three years for regular eye checkups. She is very knowledgeable, personable and competent. The office staff is courteous. My only complaint about the office is that sometimes they are a bit late for appointments.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!
First, the Dr. does not deserve the poor review from 2007 because NO doctor should 'prescribe' over the phone in this situation, esp. for someone who sounds as if he was not Dr. Menon's patient. The staff was excellent, courteous, competent, etc. The wait was short. The doctor possessed the same qualities. I felt as if I had been her patient for a long time. Office environment is excellent. I have been having a problem finding a "good" doctor since moving here. My neighbor recommended Dr. Menon and I am forever grateful. Now if I can just find an internist with the same overall qualities, especially a clean comfortable office.

Great Doctor
My entire life my eye Dr was my uncle. Upon his retirement I started seeing Dr Menon. She is a very knowledgeable, caring and personable physician, and her office staff is very helpful and prompt. The comment above regarding her unwillingness to help a patient she has no history of treating is misinformed and uneducated on selecting a physician.
Any physician willing to offer treatment to a patient based solely on the patient's description of symptoms is a fool and looking for a malpractice suit.

Poor service!
I contacted this office with eye symptoms that included eye redness and discomfort due to a "24 hour emergency service" description on their Kudzu advertisement. The answering service promptly instructed me that the doctor "on call" would not talk to me and to go to the emergency room or a walk in clinic. I am very disappointed that Dr. Menon, the "on call" doctor, did not return my call or offer any suggestion to relieve the pain until an office visit. This is extremely poor patient service and false advertising. Dr. Indira Menon's blatant insensitivity to a potential patient's attempt to receive some eye relief is a demostration of a certain incompetence. (This doctor will not try.)
