Our heater refused to come on when it started to get into the 30's recently. Almost as depressing as the AC not working when its in the 90's. Anyway, a friend of mine recommended Vito, and I must recommend him to you. Vito did an awesome job finding the problem (I needed a new thermostat). He was able to fix it fast too. I've used other companies before, and the conversation usually leads to "we can get you a new system in here for $5000+". Vito doesn't operate this way. I recently contacted Vito with Mercury controls to look at a heat pump. Not only did he fix the primary problem in a prompt and professional manner at a reasonable rate but he noticed an additional issue with the defrost unit that was causing an icing problem that was causing the unit to lose efficiency and took care of the problem at the same time. No wonder my heating bill had been running high. Now I know who I will always call in the future when I need a heating and cooling expert. David

In June our upstairs refrigeration died. Fortunately, we had used Mercury Control before for previous repairs and maintenance. Vito LaSalva, the owner, clearly and concisly guided us to the appropriate replacement unit. The old unit was recycled and the new unit was installed in the time and cost quoted. Additionally, he helped us register for a qualified gvt. rebate. It is refreshing to work with somone who says what they mean and means what they say - and gets the job done right the first time!

Was referred to this company by a repairman and the owner always answered all of my calls personally. Customer service was excellent and the owner is very honest. They fit us in during a very busy time in the extreme heat of summer to solve AC problem. Did a really good job. Working fine now.

Not only that but they don't call you back either. I gave up after several messages. When they did come out they did a great job (I thought), but now my A/C unit doesn't work again and they won't pick up or call me back.

My furnace went out just as Georiga had record cold temperatures. From the first call, Jim scheduled and came exactly on time, diagnosed the problem and drove all over Atlanta to get the right part for my furnace. He also called and kept me informed of his progress. Vitto, the owner, then drove over and installed and fixed my furnace perfectly and gave me good advice on how to prevent it from happening again. As the other reviewer said, I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, friendliness and price that I received from Jim, Vitto, and Mercury Control Heating and Air. As Jim said, "we do what we say we're going to do" and they do.

Excellent, Friendly and Professional Service After a lightning storm my air conditioner unit would not come on. I called Mercury and explained my dilemma to Vito. He arrived at my home the same day and immediately detected the problem. My AC unit had a shorted control board transformer. Vito made the replacement to the transformer and now our air is working again! I would recommend Mercury to everyone for their fast professional service.
