I called on Monday and Steve was ready to come out that afternoon, but I had to wait until Thursday to be at home. Steve called me before he arrived and was very helpful from checking the filter, replacing it, and checking the outside unit. We had some weird damage to our unit which was probably caused by the previous owner's dog. Steve could have told me it was the problem with our unit and tried to "fix" it, but he was very honest and just added the needed freon. We will definitely call him again in the future if we have servicing needs and recommend him to all of our friends.

I recently had Metro replace my air handler and blower. I could not be more pleased with the result. Steve is very knowledgable and straightforward, not to mention personable. His price was the most competitive and they were even willing to come out on Sunday to get the work completed. I have and will continue to recommend Metro and Steve to everyone I know.

Metro Heating & Air, Inc. (specifically, Steve, the contractor we've worked with) is extremely helpful. We found Metro Heating & Air on Kudzu.com the first time our air conditioning unit failed (the reason being our 95lb German Shepard chewed through some wiring/plumbing). Steve came out and not only fixed the problem, but was honest about cost, and efficient with time...he also helped us fix the lock to our gate (a totally unrelated problem). I just recently had to call him back (the German chewed through the wiring again - two months later), and he walked me through rewiring the unit OVER THE PHONE! Which means Metro Heating & Air, Inc. is a completely caring & honest company. Some other company could have charged us a bundle for what really was a quick fix. THANK YOU Steve!

I moved into a new house (new to me) and wouldn't you know the first week realized BOTH air units were not functioning. I used Kudzu to find Metro and was very pleased. Steve clearly knows his business and is an expert. He went behind another local competitor's less than satisfactory work and diagnosed and replaced with new equipment and repaired for a fair price. He is busy probably because others recognize his service and value, but he gets the job done. I recommend without hesitation.

The air conditioning stopped working in my house at the height of the heat wave that recently hit Atlanta. These guys were great...he got there on one day's notice and really took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with the unit. He was professional and very thorough and got us up and running for a very affordable price. If you need to get your AC fixed, this is the place to call. Thanks Steven!

I knew we were living on borrowed time with our 19 year old A/C. Naturally it went out during the heat wave. I called Steve who was responsive and friendly in spite of working crazy hours during what had to be his busiest time of the year! His crew came out within two days and installed a new compressor and coil for a great price. Steve personally came by to make sure everything was done to his quality standards and to make sure we were happy. If you need a new A/C or furnace, Steve at Metro Heating & Air is the guy to call!

Job done quickly & reasonably. I called around 10am, Steve was by around 2:30pm (despite lots of A/C problems in this crazy 100-degree spell) & done by 3:30. Same day! Looked to make sure everything else was working as well. Nice guy to boot.

Arter I'd moved into a newly renovated home, I discovered that my AC didn't blow cold. The first HVAC service I called took one look and said my system was too small and would have to be replaced. Devastated, I called Metro Heating & Air for a second opinion. Steve came out the same day I called and had it working great in little over an hour. And the cost didn't break the bank. I recommend Metro Heating & Air to everyone.

We were hours away from closing on our home and wanted the HVAC checked, because it was blowing a little warm. Steve came out, cleaned up the system (which didn't seem to have been touched by the previous owners), added some freon and we were in business. He also managed to spot a water leak in our crawl space that we hadn't noticed before. Thanks for the great service, Metro.

My HVAC unit in my basement stopped working. I was talking to a guy I knew about getting someone out to look at it. He knew about Metro Heating & Air b/c they were installing a new unit at his house. I gave them a call and he had my unit fixed the very next day. The kicker is that he went out of his way to check and verify that the part that broke was covered under warranty. He than went and picked the part up and installed the very same day. I highly recommend Metro for your HVAC needs!

I contacted this company based on reviews found here. The initial visit went well and the tech informed me that I needed to defrost my system before he could add coolant. He said he would return the next morning since he had a gig on Wesly Chapel. However the second visit never took place because the tech never showed up. I called the tech directly and Metro Heating and air. 1 hour later I received a call from the tech informing me that he was ill and maybe able to come in the evening. Once bitten twice shy. I called another vendor who arrived promptly and fixed my problem in under an hour. Communication is essential in all business dealings. By not informing me or providing me with alternative to a time that Metro Heating and Air set, trashed any credibility.

Sorry! I wasn't aware of this until I saw your review. The tech kept us in the dark. If he would of told me I would of come my self. If you call again we will make it up to you. Thank you anyways for the the 3 stars even though we didn't deserve them... Steve
I called Metro Heating and Air b/c I have an old Lennox system and they touted themselves to be Lennox experts, which they may be but I will never know. I called them on a Fri and they actually came on a Sat and did not charge me a weekend rate. Greg, who I talked to, was very nice and professional. The tech, Steven, came out and figured out the problem. He was cordial/friendly. He ordered the part needed and it came Wed. Steven was supposed to come out Thurs. He was supposed to call before coming. He said he called but he apparently wrote down the wrong number b/c I gave him another number to call; he didn't bother to call my work number to try to find me there to leave a message. Anyway, we talked later and he was supposed to come "first thing" at 9:30 AM (no window of time...9:30 AM). Well, no one showed up at 10:20 AM. I called him...he said he was "running late and still in bed" and said "you keep calling and all I do is live, breathe this stuff....I'll be there in 30 minutes" and hung up on me. I called him back and told him not to bother. Long story short, these guys probably know their stuff but they are not too customer-oriented or sensitive to a customer's time. Throughout the process, I had to initiate whether he called to see if the part was in stock, when it came in, when he was going to come out. You would be fool to use these folks with so many options out there. Update: People can judge for themselves. I wish I could sleep till 10AM on a Fri.

update: I have your parts and will hold for a week before returning. Also you would have no prob. oversleeping if you worked the hrs I do. Sometimes I may work until 2 or 3 in the morning. We are both adults, I apologize and call me if you like. 1st reply :There are many, many others that would disagree. Although I must admit you are a nice guy, I certainly won't miss you and your call after call after call after call. Give someone time to return your call my friend. Don't just sit there and hit redial. Oh yeah I guess I got up on the wrong side of the bed!
