Very pleased!, 10/30/2013

I called Metro House of Fire to service our gas fireplace. Tod was right on time. He fixed the fireplace and did not try to sell me anything. There were no hidden fees. He needed to order a part for... me, but his co-worker had it with him and came by three hours later to install it. I thought it would be at least another week or so before we would get the part. I was so pleased with their service and professionalism!

I was very, very interested in buying a wood stove. They sent someone out to give me an estimate on installation. Tried to give them a down payment on the stove. Never heard back from them even after... several calls. And they have the nerve to mail me advertisements for gas grills.

Horrible Customer Service

What ever happened to customer service? When I arrived at the store they had a sign on the door stating they would be returning 5 minutes previous to the current time. As I walked back to my car a car pulled in, so I waited assuming it may be an employee. He got out of his car with his lunch and asked me "what I wanted". How is that for first impressions? Even after entering the store it seemed as though I was really inconveniencing him to take the time to show me a set of gas logs. After asking several questions and being given rather abrupt answers I decided to spend my money elsewhere.
