I have used Metro Septic and Plumbing the to for any plumbing issue for the past couple of years. I was well satisfied with their service until recently. My septic system uses a pump to send waste into the drain field. About a year ago my pump failed. Metro replaced it, pumped my tank and made everything work again. I was content with the work and price. Last month my pump stopped working. Again I called Metro they promptly sent a team to diagnose the problem. The outcome was that the electrical outlet that they provided and installed when they previously replaced the pump, had failed. The repair was to replace the outlet with a different type. I asked why a different type. Their tech advised that it would be less likely to fail. I agreed. This part costs less than $10.00. Installation can be done in 15 to 20 minutes working slowly. To my surprise I was given a bill for $395.00. I asked if this was a mistake. This is our minimum charge because I drove our septic pumping truck said the tech. The pump truck was not needed, you could have driven a pickup truck and done the same job I replied. He advised that the charge would have been the same. I called the office, same answer, no matter how simple the job, the minimum charge will be at least #395.00. I find this policy unreasonable and does not reflect the work done or parts used. Since both my wife and myself are veterans with disabilities and no longer work, there is no way we can justify the future use of Metro Septic.

Our experience with Metro Septic and Plumbing is that they are very honest and fair. We had Metro Septic and Plumbing pump out our septic tank about 6 weeks ago. Our system is very old and ready to be retired. A short while later we needed it to be pumped again. Another company scared us, telling us us that our first pumping job was done incorrectly and that they had left behind layers of solids. After Metro Septic and Plumbing kindly came out to pump again, went overboard to show us everything about the system and how it really works, I can clearly see that it was done right the first time, and now for a second time, as well. I now trust Metro Septic and Plumbing implicitly. I'll be watching out for scamsters more carefully. We still need our system to be retired, but in the meantime, I'll be calling Metro Septic and Plumbing for anything we need.

Metro plumbing and septic is by far the best company I have used in the metro Atlanta area. My septic system failed and they responded promptly when called and explained the process clearly. They gave a price quote and stuck by the price. the entire team represents their company well. I highly recommend them. The team members patiently and respectfully answer all questions. It was an incredible process to watch. They were very good at keeping me informed during the whole process.
