I recently visited their Marietta location as I was recommended by my daughter's previous dentist. When I got there I was tricked by the assistant, who told me they were ONLY going to take X-rays of... my 5 year old daughters teeth and then they would come get me when it was time for the Dr. to check her. After about 1/2 an hour, I started to wonder what happened. Suddenly, my daughter and the assistant both come out saying she was ready to go. My daughter was happy, but I was not. How often do they go around sticking their hands in people's mouths without meeting them! I never saw where my daughter went, who did it, or what they did to her!!! This was our 1st (and last) time at this place and she is 5 years old! Completely unprofessional and clearly only concerned about the money! At Metropolitan Dental, our doctors are highly trained and absolutely never refuse treatment of any patient. Once the patient is examined, our doctors always discuss everything with the parents. Parents of non-ambulatory/non-communicative patients are indeed always allowed to be present during the exam. However, if the child is ambulatory, communicative, and non-apprehensive, due to behavior control, HIPPA regulations, and to protect the privacy of the other patients in the back, he or she is brought back by themselves and all details are discussed with the parent by the doctor after completion of the exam and all questions are answered. Satisfaction of all of our patients is our goal and we take pride in it.

At all of our locations, our pediatric patients are taken back only with their parents' consent. Upon completion of the exam, everything is discussed with the parents by our doctors and staff. No treatment is ever started without the parents' consent. Happiness, comfort, and safety of our patients is our only concern.
I had not been to the dentist for over 7 years so to go back I was super nervous.I started having dental care at metropolitan dental associates since February and I truly love coming to this place. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and professional. They all were very attentive and caring toward patients.I had great experiences working with Dr. Reza.He took the time to explain the techniques and always made sure that I am comfortable throughout the procedures. I was very impressed with Dr. Reza's expertise and professionalism.I would not go anywhere else for my dental care and I would totally recommend any and everyone I know to this practice . He now jas a bleeding hole in his JAW and his gums also yes we understand there will be a hole in his GUM cause that is where the tooth was remover from... however there is also a hole in his JAW/CHEEK!!?? WHY? how did it get there he is in serious pain and yall were rude enough to tell him there is NOTHING you can do yall dont know what to tell him...WOW very professional....:) Nice way to run a business yall have the most rude and inconsiderate self centered employees I have ever met out of any medical personel we have ever met!! PATHETIC!!
At Metropolitan Dental Associates, we respect our patients' choices. If they request to be sedated or put to sleep for dental work, we immediately refer them to a facility which is equipped for sedation. Our doctors are highly trained and qualified in procedures they perform. It is very common for surgical removal of any teeth including wisdom teeth to require sectioning of those teeth and suturing of the surgical sites. After teeth are extracted, the space where the teeth were, remains open until it fills back up with tissue. Every patient is anesthetized adequately in our facilities. If the patient feels any discomfort, our doctors immediately stop and anesthetize the patient more till he/she is comfortable. Sufficient prescriptions are always dispensed after surgical procedures. If these medications are taken as directed and the patient follows the post op instrurctions, there is rarely any post op discomfort. Both written and verbal pre-op consents and post op instructions are always discussed with each patients and given to them following any surgical procedure. We see every surgical patient 1 week after procedure for a follow up appointment.
Don't waste your money! Sub-standard dental work. You will end up finding another dentist to fix his work. Front desk personnel are very rude and un-cooperative. Will NOT provide YOUR records to other dentists! Way, Way, Way over priced! Compare to other dentists. All they want is your money!
At Metropolitan Dental Associates, we are in-network providers with major insurance companies and thus our prices are dentermined by the insurance company. This makes our prices lower than dentists who are not in-network providers. For patients who do not have dental insurance, we provide discounts and in-office financing through Care Credit. Our doctor has completed his post doctorate education at the University of Illinois, Chicago, has practiced dentistry for more than 8 years, and has completed continuing education courses at prestigious institutions such as the Las Vegas Institute for Dental Education (LVI), the Nash Institute, and the Dawson Academy. Our office staff are highly skilled and courteous and take extra time with each patient ensuring that all the patients' concerns are addressed. At Metropolitan Dental Associates, the only dental records approved to release by dental offices are copies of the dental x-rays and a copy of the treatment ledger. We would gladly do so if requested by the patient and once the medical release form has been signed. Our goal is to provide the best dental care for all our patients. All we want, is the satisfaction and happiness of all our patients and we work extra hard to achieve that.
I'm torn about my experience at this office. My first impression was wonderful. I liked how it was a small, clean, efficient office. I wanted a regular dentist, not a cosmetic spa, and Dr. Reza seemed to fit. I was new in town with a cracked tooth that needed a crown. They got me in quick and started the work the same day. I was happy enough that I soon returned for a regular check-up. I was put off guard when Dr. Reza casually pointed out more cavities than I could count-(turned out to be 8)-more than I've had in my entire life, and gave no indication of concern or counsel on what might have caused them. I had been dutifully getting check ups every 6 months and regularly brush with a sonic are toothbrush. I will be getting a second opinion before returning.
At Metropolitan Dental Associates, with the use of digital radiography and intraoral photography, we are able to detect defective restorations and dental decay at the beginning stages. Our goal is to properly diagnose dental disease early enough so that we can treat it efficiently and avoid further and more costly dental and oral health problems. In addition, not properly diagnosing dental disease is considered malpractice. Getting six month cleanings does not guarantee perfectly healthy dentition. Proper oral hygiene such as brushing and flossing twice daily and maintaining a healthy diet are requirements for a healthy mouth. Once any sign of dental disease is noted, our team of highly skilled clinicians take extra time to educate our patients on oral hygiene and home care.
After trying out a couple of other dental offices in the past 2 years and being unsatisfied overall,I finally decided to give Metropolitan Dental a shot. Dr. Rezaís patience, understanding, and true concern about his patientís health and comfort are clear throughout the entire visit.His team is amazing and I don't think my experience at a dental office could be better.In addition, Dr.Reza carries the latest technology, which makes your experience faster. I would highly recommend Metropolitan Dental if you are on the lookout for a great dentist .I work in midtown which is not close to woodstock,but it totally worth the drive.
Made me wait over 2 and a half hours to repair a crown that He planted. He would not repair it. Wanted to pull the tooth and instal a pin and charge $4,000.00. Also charged me $100.00 just to look at it. What a rip off for such sub-standard work. I went to another dentist, he saved the tooth, installed a new crown, and I only paid one fourth the amount. If you like throwing your money away on useless dental work, than this idiot is for you.

Dental work is never permanent and just like the engine of a car, certain dental work need to be replaced over time to make sure the mouth is healthy. Poor oral hygiene, poor home care , and not going for regular 4-6 month visits are the most common reasons for failure of dental work. There are times when repairing an existing denal restoration is not possible due to large decay, tooth fracture,and or gum conditions. In these cases, the repair option will result in poor prognosis and eventually failure of the work over a short period of time. Our doctor and staff only recommend what is best and has the best prognosis for each patient and use the best material and the best laboratories available. We are in-network with most major insurance companies and thus many of our fees are determined by the various insurance companies. For procedures not covered by the insurance, our fees are lower than average fees in our area. Our doctor and staff are highly trained and are certified by several prestigious advanced dental education institutions such as the Nash Institute for Higher Dental Eduction, Las Vegas Institute for Dental Education, and the Dawson academy. Unfortunately, sometimes emergencies happen and/or certain procedures take longer than expected thus increasing the wait time. At Metropolitan Dental Associates, we apologoize for this wait and appreciate our patients' understanding as we always do our best to make sure every patient is taken care of and their dental concerns are addressed.
Do not go to this dentist unless respect for scheduled appointment is your least concern. I have two grievances against them. First one, they moved my kids scheduled appointment to another time without prior notice. They waited until I showed up there to inform me that it was changed. Secondly, on another day (01/10/2012), they made me wait for 1 hour and 48 minutes in their waiting room, while lying to me that I will be next to be served in the following 30 minutes, then 25 minutes, then 5 minutes, then nothing... I gave up waiting and decided to take my business elsewhere.
At Metropolitan Dental Associates, seeing our patients at their scheduled appointment time is our primary goal. Due to the nature of the business, certain procedures take longer than expected and emergencies do occur which may result in us not being able to see the patient at the exact scheduled time. We do apologize for this incovenience as we attempt to provide the best care to all our patients in a timely manner. Our office staff are very courteous and always communicate any changes in the schedule with our patients.
First, let me tell you, I have been a patient at this office for several years. I have enjoyed it up until my very last visit. Secondly, I will never return. I am unhappy that there is always someone new cleaning my teeth. The worst part is, last time it was the assistant who cleaned my teeth and she smelled like smoke! She rushed through the entire cleaning amd my gums felt like a battle field when I left. I just want people to know that there is a reason to be scared to go this dentist. Worst dental experience yet.

This office sucks!!! Be prepared to wait a long time to be seen and then get hassled when you check out. This is one of the worst dentist I have ever been to. I recently moved here to Georgia and I miss my old dentist!

The staff was friendly but really the prices are through the roof! The doctor must think very highly of himself. If I want to pay these kind of prices I would rather go to a dental spa. Atleast I will feel like I am getting what I am paying for in a much better facilty.

We do offer discounts for our non-insurance patients and our prices have always been less than most dental offices in our area.
