I paid $2500 for Roto Rooter to make a mess in my house and yard, then tell me they don't do the rest of what needed to be done. They had to call another company to put a camera into my pipes because they got some part of their equipment stuck in there and they added that cost to my bill! My sister's real estate agent recommended Metropolitan Sewer to me after that. The owner came out and told me I needed a small part of my sewer replaced and a clean out installed, they did the work and even fixed my grass where Roto Rooter destroyed it. They showed me all of the permits and I was able to be there for the city to inspect it. The men who worked in my yard were very respectful and I never felt cheated or disappointed. If I would have called them first, I would have been able to go on vacation with the money I saved! Thanks Parnell and Metropolitan Sewer!

These guys came to do my neighbor's sewer repair. For three days, I had to endure yelling and always with foul language. The "F-WORD" was every other word. Their truck, that had the loud generator, leaked oil on the street in front of my house. The oil spot that it left is about 2 feet in diameter. This oil will eventually end-up in Puget Sound. They don't care or, are so lacking in awareness that they didn't even notice. The hole they dug was next to my Cedar Tree. They hacked through the tree's roots and when filling the hole, they left the butchered roots sticking out of the ground. "Thanks, morons!" They used my water from both of the spigots on that side of my house. They disconnected the hoses, and the nozzles, and didn't even cover their tracks by replacing the hoses and nozzles. Duhhhh...at least ask if you can use my water!!!! The cement work they did to repair the hole they dug in the sidewalk doesn't match the design of the surrounding sidewalk. It's totally different and sticks out like a sore thumb. How hard can it be to notice a pattern and duplicate it??? They used my water for that job, too. So, maybe the owner of the house is happy with the work and the estimate and everything else. I am not. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.

I hired Metropolitan Sewer to replace my leaking main water line, which was costing me hundreds per month in utilities bills. They cut the existing pipe and put in a "partial pipe" to save me money, at a cost of $650.00. The pipe continued to leak. They then came and gave me a quote for $2,200.00 - -to do what they should have done in the first place. At that point, I decided to go with a more reputable plumbing company --O'Neill's in West Seattle. As if the $652.00 wasted money was not enough, Metropolitan failed to have the city inspect their work before covering up the trench - -which meant that I could not get any rebate from the City for what amounted to thousands of dollars in water bills. This is not only irresponsible, it is negligent on their behalf and fails to meet the standard of care of a decent plumbing company. Do not hire them!

My 78 year old sewer line back up and need to be repaired. After 9 differing and very expensive bids I was referred to Metropolitan. They did a great job at a great price, I would look now further for a great sewer Company.

I always get multiple bids and every time I end up going with Metropolitan. They are quick to respond and have always presented several options for solutions (saving $$$). Very professional during the job and they leave the work site so tidy you'll barely remember they were there. Most importantly to me, they believe in communicating... even if they're just running a few minutes late. That's unheard of in this industry!
